![]() As My Name Is Human by Highly Suspect begins to play through the arena, a video montage is shown. Previous SCW stars are briefly shown, followed by current stars. Lucius Tendonin as SCW Alternative Champion, Jessica Tendonin in her first reign as SCW Alternative Champion, Priest in his first reign as SCW Alternative Champion, Jessica Tendonin in her second reign as SCW Alternative Champion, Requiem as SCW Alternative Champion, Adatu Urakih as SCW Alternative Champion, Priest in his second reign as SCW Alternative Champion, Emily Desmond as SCW Alternative champion, Neela Shizeguma as SCW World Champion, Brian Kennedy as SCW World Champion, Brian Brewster as SCW World Champion, Paige Lewis as the SCW World Heavyweight Champion and lastly, Jessica Tendonin as the SCW World Heavyweight Champion. The SCW Commentary Team is shown now, Allie Queen and Wayne Miller. Wayne: Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, we're coming at you live from the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada! This is Saturday Night Overdrive number 43! Allie: Tonight marks the return of one of our earliest stars, the one and only, Jesse Owusu! Wayne: Owusu was the first North American Champion here in SCW. And while the belt is inactive at the moment, it has produced the most champions to date. Allie: But, it's likely just a matter of time before it makes a return, as it always does! In tonight's opening bout, both superstars are former North American Champions, and with that in mind, if the rumors of it coming back are indeed true, you know Mr. Walker will be watching this match closely. Wayne: In the main event, we have Alzy Hawkshaw, number one contender for the SCW World Heavyweight Championship and the SCW Alternative Championship, facing the number 2 contender for the SCW Alternative Championship, Priest. Allie: Speaking of Alzy, I understand Sean Foster is standing by, backstage with the man himself. |

Sean Foster is back stage with Alzy, who has just arrived at the arena, his gear in the bag slung over his shoulders. Alzy seems rather calm despite the person he is facing in the main event. Sean: Alzy you had some words for Priest the other night but he has answered and…. Alzy: And needs to be drug tested. Sean: I was wondering what you thought about what he said. Alzy: What did I think? Seriously did you watch it? Sean: I did and I thought he brought up some interesting things. Alzy: Really? Because I wondered if he had his brains knocked one too many times while he was working out. I mean….what the hell was he talking about? About the only thing he got wrong is that as far as SCW goes, yes I’m the newest one around here. Past that NOTHING he said made much sense. He said I didn’t make sense, well pardon the hell out of me for talking about the whole picture and not some minuscule brief of a moment. He claims to eat people like me for breakfast. Well if he had bothered to open a computer, or hell even go to a library and use theirs, he would KNOW who I am exactly. First off I didn’t demand to be put into the MegaCup. I originally came to SCW to partner with Emily as the other half of HellFire. Plain and simple, nothing but the truth there. But I was approached by Mr. Walker and he asked if I would be interested. Hell yeah, who wouldn’t be interested? Let’s get real here. Oh maybe I should have said no, then maybe Mr. “My sh…..” Sean: Don’t say that! You know ….FCC and everything. Alzy rolls his eyes as he switches his bag from one arm to the other. Alzy: Ok. Mr. “My Crap Doesn’t Smell”. Better? Sean nods. Alzy: Anyway as I was saying he acts like he’s better than anyone around here but it was painfully obvious by the ….about a minute in that he didn’t even listen to anything I said and just dreamt up something that didn’t exist. There is one small thing I want to point out to Priest and that is yes, FTWO is gone. However I knew someone when HE was in FTWO. Priest seems to have been hit one too many times and forgotten that little fact. Maybe it’s because he didn’t accomplish crap while he was there. He talks about how he helped to build SCW along with Kennedy and Tendonin. Well what the happen when SCW closed? Kennedy wasn’t to be found. Jessica stuck in there, that I can say I openly admire about her. But I don’t know where he gets this….vision that I was here and ran as quick as I could. I admit it, this is my first time in SCW and sure sounds like someone is VERY jealous of the fact that I’ve already accomplished more in SCW than he could even thought about. I mean the whole thing about how he lost to the three top ladies of SCW and then he has the …..nerve to say what have they done since he lost to them. Well they managed to keep the singles titles among themselves. HE is the one who hasn’t done shit. Sean Foster closes his eyes and rubs his forehead, hoping THAT goes unnoticed. Sean: What did you think of him saying that some people on the roster refused to let other talent in? I mean…. Alzy: I have no idea what he’s talking about. Lynn was a tag champion. Kennedy was the world champion. In fact he wasn’t even the world champion when SCW shut down! It was…. Alzy takes a deep breath as if to stay calm. Alzy: It was Brian Brewster who was the world champion, and he hadn’t held it very long when SCW closed. And even then when SCW reopened did Priest forget to wake up and notice that Lynn….that Feral Destruction vacated their belts and left! How in the hell is that holding anyone back? I would think that left a few very open doors for people to go through. But Priest seems to like and talk about the fans heads, as if he’s giving his own personal peek into his job. Well Priest try and comprehend this. It seems only ONE person kept their precious title when SCW reopen and lets all guess who that was. Anyone? Everyone? PRIEST!!! Yep YOU kept your title. Brewster, both of them, and Davitt gave back their titles, letting others take them. Neela didn’t have to, but she chose to leave SCW with them, leaving a huge gap for the people new to SCW to take their place. Now….how is it you can say that Lynn held people back when she gave up the tag title? You know, you should go ask your buddy Kennedy about holding people back because I want to know how the hell you do that when you don’t…..have a DAMN TITLE! Alzy throws his bag to the ground, catching Sean Foster by surprise. Sean tries to cut in, but Alzy is having none of it. Alzy: You talk about how I don’t do my research, well Priest you made it abundantly clear YOU don’t do any damn research. Try starting with SCW you ass! I’ve already proven you don’t do shit in that department because you seem to be laboring under some f’ing belief that ….. Alzy is at a loss for words, which gives Sean a chance to break in. Sean: Alzy, we all know you’re passionate about your upcoming match but…. Alzy: But what? Go look up! If you can prove to me that Lynn is still on the roster I will happily eat my words. I won’t have to! I know I’m right. This asshole is walking around here like he’s some pontification of goodness and kindness when he is not the saint he’s trying to make people believe he is. In fact….he’s worse! He was such a hog that instead of stepping aside and saying “hey let some others have a shot at it” he held onto the Alternative title! Thank heaven Emily won it. At least we have a person who gives two shits about being champion, and who loves this business and seeing it succeed. Emily is new to this business and she has already brought some fresh air in! He thinks I haven’t done anything? Well tonight he is about to find out that he needs to do some damn homework because I am going to make him suffer. When tonight is over Priest will know how serious all his mistakes are. I’ll have him questioning if he should have mouthed off to me, and I’ll have him questioning if he should even still be in this business. It’s not my fault that he couldn’t get a win unless he bribes someone for it. Everything I’ve done in the time I’ve been here I’ve earned. I’ve stepped in that ring, I showed everyone just who I am. Priest needs to learn what Extreme Means. Because I am the Extreme one and I will take a piece out of his lily white ass and prove to the world what a fraud he is. Sean stands there as Alzy glares at him for a moment, then picks up his bag and stalks off towards his locker room. Sean seems unsure what to say, never mind Alzy almost certainly just gave SCW a decent FCC fine for his language and actions. The camera goes back to ringside. Allie: Wow…..Well Alzy started off calm enough. Wayne: I’m…..I’m sure Mr. Walker will have some words with Alzy. Allie: Although you can’t blame Alzy. Priest did seem to be talking about a totally different person. |

Sean Foster is back stage in Alzy’s locker room. Alzy is off preparing for his match, but Emily Desmond, along with Chris Desmond, is in his locker room. Sean: Emily it’s been a few weeks since you took on Jacina and easily defeated her, but many are wondering how you feel knowing that you’ll be taking on Alzy Hawkshaw for the Alternative title. Emily: I’ll face him as if he was any other competitor Sean: I think that’s what …..or how Hellfire can survive if its members are facing each other. Emily: Look, I know Alzy talks about how the Alternative title is one that he made his own years ago, but that’s just it, it was years ago. This is a new era. I intend to keep this title but in the rare case where if he beats me, then at least the title stays with Hellfire. But if I do lose I will ask for a rematch and I plan on gaining the title back. But we’re getting ahead of ourselves, which is it when it’s Emily Desmond versus Alzy Hawkshaw. Sean: Chris how do you feel about this? This could….hamper Hellfire moving on. Chris: Emily said it, and was clear. If she loses Hellfire still holds the Alternative title. Yes it’s a hard thing but both Emily and Alzy are very talented wrestlers. What will they bring? One hell of a show, that’s what. It will make everyone sit up and take notice. They could easily steal the show. Right now it hasn’t been determined when Alzy will get his world title shot but if he gets it at Spring Meltdown? It’s the only thing that would outshine Emily and Alzy. Sean: So….you don’t see anything upsetting the group? Emily rolls her eyes at Sean, who knows the answer to that but isn’t willing to say it on TV. Sean: Let me put it this way. Do you know when you will face Alzy? Emily: No, but it doesn’t matter if its next show, next pay view or whenever. I’ll bring my A game and I know Alzy will too. Hell I’m not even asking my dad to pick sides, it’s that big of a match. The people at home will be getting a true treat when the match does take place. Sean nods, knowing that Emily is correct. Emily: All I ask is that Alzy brings everything he has, and this will truly come down to who brings it all and then some. The tiny bit extra will be what wins the match. I know if you asked Alzy, he would say the same. But he’s focused on his match tonight, and on kicking Priest…..how was it? Oh yeah. It was that the match would be in hell and that Priest is going to kick Alzy all over it. Well I’ve faced Priest, I know how good Alzy is, and I think Priest better take a reality check because hell must of just froze over and Alzy will win. Then I’ll face Alzy and we’ll show why Hellfire should be the dominant tag team of SCW, and why we are both the best wrestlers that SCW has. |

Cassie: Ladies and gentlemen, the following non-title contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from TDotO, please welcome, returning to SCW, Jesse "Young Life" Owusu!!! The lights start to dim as the opening beat of "Worst behaviour" by Drake starts to play, as the arena is cover with fog. We see some few highlights of Jesse Owusu in XPW, XWE, CWA, SCW and WCF before ending the cycle clip with Jesse holding the SCW NA Championship belt. "WORST" "Mothafucka never loved us, fucka never loved us" Allie Queen: Returning to SCW after some time away, Jesse Owusu nearly became SCW World Champion back in the old SCW! Wayne Miller: Young Life is back, baby! The fog starts to clear off and the crowd can see Jesse "Young Life" Owusu, kneeling down and making his signature "Y for YoungLife" pose. Jesse then stared at the crowd as he gets up. He struts his way to the ring while hyping up the fans and getting them to cheer louder for him. Jesse then slides into the ring and goes to the nearest turnbuckle. He climbs up the turnbuckle and stares deeply at the crowd before doing the "Y" pose. He gets off the turnbuckle and smirks at the crowd. Cassie: And his opponent, from Moscow, Jacina!!! The fans cheer and clap in rhythm in unison as the lights in the arena go out. Then TNT by AC/DC blares through the PA system as the multicolored lights pulsate along with the music. Then the music stops, the lights stop, and the arena goes dark for a moment. Then the music and the lights begin again with the multicolor lights pulsating to the music. Jacina slowly comes through the curtains, the fans erupt with cheers. Jacina bends down on her knees, opens her arms wide as she absorbs the fans adulation. Jacina stands and makes her way to the ring. Climbing into the ring, the former champion walked around the ring as her music faded. Allie Queen: This match has the potential to be an eye opener. Wayne Miller: There's the bell. And Jacina charges at Owusu! Owusu stopped Jacina in her tracks with a massive Super Kick, sending her to the mat, out cold. Allie Queen: What the!? Superkick from Owusu! Wayne Miller: Oh, ho, ho, and we know what's next! Owusu looking to end this quickly, and show why he was one of our top stars! Standing over Jacina, Owusu shook his head and then moved to the turnbuckle, hitting a Y pose at the top, followed by a 450 Splash. The crowd popped as he flew through the air. Allie Queen: T Dot Connection! Jesse Owusu hits the T Dot connection! Wayne Miller: Welcome back to SCW, Jesse Owusu! Owusu hooked Jacina’s leg, going for the close. The referee began counting. 1.........2.........3!!! The bell rang and Worst Behavior thundered through the arena as the fans cheered for Owusu. The man stood as the referee raised his hand in victory. Cassie: Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner...Jesse Owusu!!! Allie Queen:That...that's gotta be the quickest match in SCW for 2018 so far! Hell, that might be faster than all of our matches from last year! Wayne Miller: Young Life wins! This just seems...right! WINNER: JESSE OWUSU |

Owusu signaled for his music to be cut, and someone tossed him a mic. Jesse Owusu: Is this the best SCW has to offer? Is this really the so called deadliest woman on earth? What a fucking joke! This fed is a fucking joke. And it always has been. You see, there's all these chatter about if SCW is dead and who's to blamed. Well news flash people, SCW died long time ago and it's a ghost in a shell and I'm not talking about that fucking anime movie. And yet... you people still come here hoping and praying that maybe...JUST MAYBE things are going to change. Well I'm back in this shithole to save you all from this demise. Owusu sneered at the crowd as they began booing him, then he grinned. Jesse Owusu:WORSHIP ME! GET DOWN ON YOUR FUCKING KNEES because Jesse "Young Life" Owusu is finally back in SCW to pull SCW off the rubble that it was buried in. Fact is, SCW needs Jesse Owusu not the other way around. Fact is, I was fine staying retired and living my merry life happy ever after. But Terel Walker paid me big bucks just to convince me to come back to this hellhole. And you know, I came back in honour of my good friend and my former tag-team partner Jordan Post...the man you idiots drove away despite creating this fed. Well, this is God's Plan and the Revelation is about to be revealed to you all. Owusu climbed a turnbuckle, and spoke again. Jesse Owusu:Allow me to reintroduce myself. My name is Jesse Owusu and I'm your saviour. So again...WORSHIP ME! Let me hear it!!! This garnered another massive boo from the crowd, and Owusu continued to grin. He dropped the mic, doing his signature pose on the turnbuckle. As the boos continued, he exited the ring, laughing as his music started again and he walked backwards up the ramp. |

The crowd exploded as Sail by AWOLNATION hit the PA system. After about twenty seconds, Lewis walked out onto the stage. The young blonde looked around the arena, adjusting her sunglasses before continuing to the ring. The crowd thundered as the former SCW World Heavyweight Champion marched on the ring. Allie Queen: Paige Lewis has been adored by the SCW fans since her arrival, and sudden jump to the top of this company. It seemed that nobody could stop her, but of all the challenges she faced, only Jessica Tendonin could tame the wildfire. Wayne Miller: And at Overdrive 42, Paige Lewis made it clear that she means business, putting away former SCW World Champion, Brian Kennedy, and then assaulting him after the match with her mentor! Allie Queen: Who knows what would have happened, had it not been for the intervention of Lucius Tendonin, husband of the SCW World Heavyweight Champion, and the partner of Brian Kennedy, whom he formed DEA with! But we learned, do not cross the young londoner! Paige Lewis climbed into the ring and paced for a moment as her music faded. Someone tossed her a microphone and she looked around the arena again, beaming now. Paige Lewis: Ladies, gentlemen, children...I've only got my new hearing implants a week ago, so let me hear you again! The crowd obliged and thundered with cheers. In the ring, Lewis nodded with a huge smile. Paige Lewis: I couldn't resist. I hated not hearing you lot at Overdrive 42. Now, onto business, so let's get to it. A lesser woman than myself wouldn't have claimed she was screwed over, demanded she get a rematch at the first possible chance. I still applaud Jessica Tendonin for being the only person to defeat me between these ropes. When she hit me with that Paraguayan Imprint...it was...humbling. Heartbreaking. Devastating. Allie Queen: I've heard rumors of what went on when Lewis went backstage at Survival. Paige Lewis: Before that match, I didn't know how to lose. All I knew was keep pushing, keep getting up, keep working, until the bell rings and my hand is raised in victory. Jessica Tendonin taught me how to lose...but she did NOT make me forget how to win. And I've got a lot of wins left in me. 70 days. Wayne Miller: 70 days?! What's she talking about?! Allie Queen: If you hush, we might find out! Paige Lewis: 70 days is how long Jessica Tendonin will be as SCW World Heavyweight Champion. The crowd began buzzing and Paige smiled, winking at a kid in the front row before going on. Paige Lewis: For those of you quick with dates, that is March 10th. The date of Overdrive 44. And at Overdrive 44...I'm claiming my rematch for MY SCW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP! The crowd exploded at this news and Wayne began fidgeting. Wayne Miller: We're gonna have a World Heavyweight Championship match three weeks from now, live on television! Allie Queen: This is huge! One would think Paige would wait to see who came out on top between Tendonin and Hawkshaw! But she wants the gold back! Paige Lewis: At Overdrive 44, when I become the first person to be this company's world champion twice, I am going to make the redheaded bitch the shortest reigning world champion in this company! At Overdrive 44, I - Party Monster by The Weeknd began playing through the arena audio system, getting a massive pop from the fans. After a few seconds, Jessica Tendonin walked out onto the stage, the SCW World Heavyweight Championship around her waist, and the SCW International Heavyweight Championship in her right hand. She stood there for a moment, raising both arms above her head, holding the International title up, posing for the fans who cheered her. Jessica then began walking down the ramp, slowly lowering her arms. "I'm Good, I'm Good, I'm Great!" Allie Queen: Oh snap! The champion has heard enough! Jessica Tendonin, incoming! Reaching the ring, Tendonin rolled in quickly and grabbed a microphone. After signaling for her music to be cut, she raised the microphone. Jessica Tendonin: Paige, Paige, Paige...so dramatic. You want this back? You think you're ready to go one on one again, with the only person to beat you? You think...you can beat...me? You come out here, and you rile these people up, get them excited, and for what? To get that warm fuzzy feeling in the belly? Paige Lewis...you cannot beat me. I proved that already. All the softballs you were thrown? I'm a goddamned meteor compared to them. Paige smirked, tilting her head a bit before speaking. Paige Lewis: The legendary confidence of Jessica Tendonin. Is this that confidence that let Priest usurp the SCW Alternative Championship from you five years ago? Or, is this some new confidence you've undeservedly attained? Wayne Miller: Strong words being traded here! I love it! Allie Queen: That Priest quip is a deep cut for Tendonin. Priest is the only person to have defeated her for a championship in this company. Jessica adjusted the International championship on her shoulder and took a step forward. Jessica Tendonin: Say that again. I'll beat your ass right here and right now. Paige Lewis: Is that a fact, mate? Jessica Tendonin: I am not your damn mate. I am- Before Tendonin could finish, The Ryders, former SCW Tag Team Champions, jumped out of the audience and slid into the ring, flanking the blonde, who grinned up at the champion. Tendonin grinned right back. Jessica Tendonin: That's cute. That's real cute. But I've got a posse, too, in case you've forgotten. Allie Queen: Oh my! I can sense this breaking down, quick, fast, and in a hurry if Tendonin summons the Order again! Mr. Walker managed to stop a beatdown at our last event, but I don't know if he can do it again! Three women climbed over the barricades and rolled into the ring, standing at Jessica's sides. And, the only way to tell which was her, was by the championships she held. Wayne Miller: Holy hell! I don't think I've ever seen all four of them in one place! Allie Queen: My God, that's Jessica Tendonin, her sister Ashley Wallace, their cousins Izzy Lopez and J.Natalia Wallace! Jessica Tendonin: If you're feeling froggy...jump. I've built a dynasty with these women around me...it would be nothing for us to stomp out a second year rookie and her jobber bodyguards, and that raggedy woman if she shows up, too. You seem to forget I was giving all four of you the work. Imagine if there are four of me. Paige stepped forward, dropping her mic, staring up at Jessica. The pair stared at each for nearly a minute as the crowd buzzed at a potential showdown. "Fuck Being On Some Chill Shit!" 0 to 100 by Drake hit the PA system and the crowd popped. A moment later, Terel Walker came out on stage, holding a mic. He wore a dark blue suit with a gray tie as he began moving down the ramp. Wayne Miller: Oh come on...does he always have to play referee? Allie Queen: Oh thank goodness! We do not want this collision, here tonight! Mr. Walker should be able to talk some sense into both of them. Mr. Walker made his way to the ring at a bit of a jog, knowing an intervention was needed. Rolling into the ring as his music was cut, he physically separated the two women, and stood between them. Mr. Walker: Okay, that's enough. Settle down, all of you. I think I've told you both before, we don't talk about the SCW World Heavyweight Championship, and leave me out. Paige Lewis, you want your rematch? You've got it. You want it in London, at the O2 Arena? You've got it. But, I'm going to refer to the champion, to decide how she defends. The two women were still staring a hole through each other. Mr. Walker looked back and forth at both of them for a moment. Mr. Walker: Hey! Jessica, Paige! They turned to face him now, breaking their stare. Jessica raised her microphone. Jessica Tendonin: Terel...these people have seen me do some amazing things in a ladder match. But now...they're going to see me do some amazing things...in Hell in a Cell! The crowd roared and thundered as Jessica turned her stare back to the blonde. Jessica's stare was iron. The blonde, however, showed the first sign of fear since signing with the organization a year ago. Her eyes widened and her fists were unclenched now. Seeing this, Jessica began to grin. Allie Queen: Hell in a Cell? On Overdrive?! For the SCW World Heavyweight Championship?!? There's no way Mr. Walker will go for that! Mr. Walker: March 10th, 2018. The O2 Arena, in London, England. Overdrive 44. The SCW World Heavyweight Championship on the line. Jessica Tendonin vs Paige Lewis II. In Hell in a Cell. Allie Queen: The suspense! Yes or no, man?! Wayne Miller: Calm down! Mr. Walker: I like it. I like it a lot. No, I LOVE IT! Paige, you've got your rematch! Jessica, you've got your Hell in a Cell! Allie Queen: OH MY GOD! IT'S HAPPENING! LEWIS VS TENDONIN II!! THREE WEEKS FROM TONIGHT!! Wayne Miller: Hell in a Cell, World Heavyweight Championship on the line, on Overdrive!? I'll be damned! But, can Paige get it done? Allie Queen: If anybody left in SCW can defeat Jessica Tendonin, with a title on the line, it's Paige Lewis! Wayne Miller: Nobody has actually beaten Jessica Tendonin for a world championship in...shit...5 or 6 years. Allie Queen: Wha- Wait, holy shit, you're right! Wayne Miller: What an announcement, and we've got tonight's main event coming up after this! |

Cassie: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is your main event of the evening, and it is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Houston, Texas, weighing in at three hundred and twenty eight pounds...Priest! Passive by A Perfect Circle hits the PA system. As Priest steps onto the stage, the crowd gives him a mixed reaction. Stopping in the middle of the ramp, Priest glares into the crowd with a sinister smile. As the opening guitar riffs start to kick in, the lights in the arena flicker on and off as flaming pyro's go off. After a couple seconds, Priest twist his neck to crack his spine and heads down the ramp. Once he gets to the ring, he removes his black sunglasses and taunts tossing them into the crowd, but doesn't. He sees a child walks over to him, and acts like he's going to give it to him. But instead of giving them to the child, he drops them to the floor and stomps on them. The monster laughs now as he climbs into the ring. Cassie: And his opponent, hailing from right here in Vancouver, British Columbia, weighing in at 220 pounds...Alzy Hawkshaw!! The lights go out, and "Raining Blood" by Slayer begins playing. The lights dim to a red haze, and as the heavy, speedy riff begins, the lights start to flicker at the same speed, and Alzy Hawkshaw makes his way out. He arrogantly taunts the fans as he walks down to ringside, challenging them to hit him. He stops the trash talk once he reaches the ring, and slides in. Alzy then goes to the far corner and climbs up, holding his arms out in challenge, soaking in the hostility from the crowd. He then hops down, and the lights return to normal, and Alzy turns to face Priest. Allie Queen: Both of these men have pending shots at the SCW Alternative Championship, being the number one and number two contenders. But before either of them get their shot, they are facing each other! Wayne Miller: Last Overdrive, Alzy Hawkshaw requested this match, seeming to have a bone to pick with Priest. Allie Queen: Mr. Walker seemed to have other plans, but decided to go along with this, instead. Wayne Miller: The referee is going to have his hands full, as these two combustible elements collide! Alzy Hawkshaw seemed to snap earlier tonight, and now, Priest will have to deal with his rage, but Priest can hold his own, too! The bell rang and the fans rumbled as the two men met in the center of the ring. Priest decked Hawkshaw, knocking him back a step, but Hawkshaw countered with a Dropkick, taking Priest down. Allie Queen: Priest took a cheapshot, but Alzy is in no mood for it, sending him straight to the mat. Wayne Miller: There are two people in the back who you have to imagine are watching this match closely. Allie Queen: Emily Desmond, the SCW Alternative Champion, and Jessica Tendonin, the Alternative Division Commissioner. Wayne Miller: Exactly. Priest was back to his feet, and managed to dodge a second Dropkick from the hometown superstar. When Hawkshaw got up, Priest ran him over with a Knee Strike, and followed it up with an Elbow Drop as he rebounded off the ropes. Hawkshaw groaned in pain as Priest picked him up. Hawkshaw slugged Priest, staggering the bigger man, but Priest fired back with a right of his own. Allie Queen: Looks like we're going to see a punching contest! Wayne Miller: I don't know if this is smart on Alzy's part. Priest has a hundred pounds on him, literally. Getting into a slugfest is not smart. Easy way to get gassed. Priest dodged one of Hawkshaw's punches, grabbed his arm, and put the Vancouver native in a Full Nelson. Allie Queen: You're right, and it's for reasons like this! Wayne Miller: Priest can take some punishment, but he's also versatile. Priest took Hawkshaw to the mat with the Full Nelson Slam, and covered him. Hawkshaw kicked out before the count could start. Priest picked him up by the hair. The referee began gesturing for him to let go of his hair, but Priest ignored him. Priest went to whip Hawkshaw into the corner, but the smaller man countered. Allie Queen: Priest goes sailing into the corner! Wayne Miller: Alzy might be setting him up for something here! Priest slumped in the corner, and Hawkshaw darted towards him, and jumped, going into a handstand on top of the turnbuckle, before falling into a dropkick in the corner. Priest fell out of the corner, groaning as Hawkshaw got to his feet. Allie Queen: Innovative dropkick there by Alzy. Wayne Miller: Innovative? That was downright amazing! Hawkshaw waited for Priest, stalking him from behind as the big man struggle to his feet. And then, Hawkshaw pounced. He put the big man in the Gutwrench position, and heaved. Allie Queen: Is he going for the Ranhei?! Wayne Miller: Pretty sure he calls it the Blitzkreig, but yes, it looks like it! Hawkshaw slammed Priest hard, and covered him for a pin attempt. 1.........2.........3!!! Wayne Miller: This one is over! Cassie: Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner...Alzy Hawkshaw!! WINNER: ALZY HAWKSHAW Hawkshaw had his hand raised in victory, as his music began to play. The arena cheered for his victory as Priest rolled out of the ring. Emily Desmond came down to the ring, and held his hand in the air, congratulating her partner. The pair hugged and looked as if they were about to exit the ring, but his music stopped. Allie Queen: Technical issues? Wayne Miller: Only if they are named Terel Walker! Indeed, Mr. Walker appeared on the titantron. Mr. Walker: Whoa, whoa, whoa. Not so fast, Alzy. First, congratulations. That was an impressive match. I'm actually glad your tag team partner Emily Desmond came out there to congratulate you, because...well...I've got an announcement for both of you. The crowd began rustling, wondering what the announcement could be. Allie Queen: Oh...my...god...he wouldn't! Is this what I think it is?! Mr. Walker: Three weeks from tonight, Paige Lewis will be getting her rematch for the SCW World Heavyweight Championship. I had an idea...we're having one championship match...why not another? So...instead of waiting until Spring Meltdown, Alzy Hawkshaw...you will be getting your shot at the SCW Alternative Championship...at Overdrive 44! The crowd popped with excitement at this announcement. Allie Queen: Oh yes! Overdrive 44 is going to be awesome! Wayne Miller: Please relax! You're scaring me! Mr. Walker: Emily, we've talked about how you would defend the belt, as it is the prerogative of the SCW Alternative Champion to choose the match type. You told me you were prepared to defend in a Chairs and Cuffs match. So. it's set. Emily Desmond vs. Alzy Hawkshaw, for the SCW Alternative Championship, in a Chairs and Cuffs match, at OVerdrive 44, in London England! Allie Queen: These fans are going nuts! I'm going nuts! This is awesome! Wayne Miller: Overdrive 44 just became a Pay Per View worthy event, on paper at least. But, that's all our time here tonight, folks! We'll see you in 3 weeks at the O2 Arena! Overdrive went off the air with Emily Desmond and Alzy Hawkshaw staring at each other, knowing what was coming. |
