Part One (Office)

Scene Opens. LT is sitting in his office at his house. He’s typing on his computer. The camera is facing dead center on the desk, about ten feet away. After a moment, LT speaks as he looks into the camera.

LT: So, here we are. It’s that time again here in SCW and I think you people know what I’m talking about. Its Par Per View time, and you should know what that means. Titles will be on the line, and feuds will begin or be settled. In our business, we have the most intense encounters live on Pay Per View, and for good reason. Things come to a head when millions are watching. Things happen at a Pay Per View that you just can’t see on regular TV. I made my debut here in SCW at the last pay per view, and although it was a losing effort, it set the tone for my future here in SCW. That initial loss told me that if I wanted to run with the big boys here in SCW, I needed to refine my game, upgrade my style, and improve my overall ability. I would like to say that I have done that over the last few weeks, but only time will tell.

LT stops speaking for a moment. He types something on his Tecra, and sound is heard. He turns the Toshiba to face the camera. Onscreen is a video of Christobal Odom and Jesse Owusu going at it.

LT: This is, as most of you know, the initial bout for the SCW North American Championship. Christobal Odom would put in a valiant effort, but it was Owusu who would walk away with the gold. Not that I need to remind any of you. Why am I showing you this? Because I want to show the SCW Locker Room, and indeed the fans that I am not walking down to that ring without a plan. You see, at the show following the pay per view, I was set up in a match against Odom, whereas the winner would get a shot at Owusu’s belt. That was a few weeks ago and as most of the SCW fans are aware, Odom could not overcome the T5. After being setback with a loss in my debut, it felt good to redeem myself the following week, and the pot was sweetened by the fact that I had a shot at the champion for my effort. So, am I worthy of being the North American Champion? Do I have what it takes to defeat Jesse Owusu and take the belt home and add it to my collection? I believe I do indeed have the necessary skillset to get the job done.

LT closes the laptop and stands up, walking over to a window. The camera follows him to the window. LT opened the curtains, letting a shaft of light beam in. The midnight moon was quite bright tonight.

LT: At this time next week, I expect to be standing here at this window, holding the North American Championship. Why? Why am I so confidant? Because I have spent the last two weeks studying Jesse Owusu, His style, technique, mannerisms in the ring, outside the ring. And what I concluded was quite pleasing.

LT turned to face the camera, his face set.

LT: I do not take my competitors lightly. This will be a battle, no doubt about it. And whoever wins will damn sure have to earned it. I could stand here and say I’m the toughest SOB in SCW right now, and that nobody can go toe to toe with me on any level. I could say that JP should just give me the belt, and send Owusu packing. But I won’t. Those are the things that a rookie would say. I have been in this business for fifteen years, and am far from being a rookie. Consider this. I have something to prove here in SCW. So does my opponent, whether he knows it yet or not. I have to prove that I have what it takes to be a champion here in SCW, and Mr. Owusu has to prove that he has what it takes to remain a champion. Both of these are daunting tasks, and neither will be completed easily. As a testament of how serious I am, and how hard I am going to work to win this match, and become the second SCW North American Champion, I will be training with the Tendonin Xchange tomorrow. This is a special occasion and with all of the combined ring knowledge that my brothers, sisters, cousins, and our friends have, this will be the training session from hell. The calls have been made and they will be here in a few hours. They will also remain here until the day after the pay per view. My family understands how focused I am on this match, and they are going to help me achieve my goal. Understand something. Right now, these are just words. But the fact that they will be tested very soon bodes well for my future. Previously, I would be cutting promos while going to an ASA event. That was okay, because I and my wife were defending our championships over there. That is unlikely to happen anymore, though. You see, I realize that SCW has amazing potential, but that it will only rise to the top if there are dedicated people working here.

LT stops talking and moves back to his desk, sitting in his chair. There was a glass of soda on a coaster to the side of his laptop. Taking a short swallow, he continued speaking, a new seriousness in his voice.

LT: It is for that reason, among others, that I no longer working for ASA fulltime. I have been there for quite a while, and when I came to SCW, I said if I liked what I saw, I would stay. And so far, I have seen reason after reason, week after week, to stay here. SCW needs superstars. Superstars that will become Champions, and Champions who will carry this company proudly, and show what it means to be a Champion. I say again, I believe I have the skills needed to relieve Jesse Owusu of the North American Championship at the upcoming Pay Per View.

LT goes silent, looking at the camera, but seeming to be looking past it. He looks towards the door to his office and smiles as his wife Jessica approaches, wearing a black chemise, her hair pulled back into a ponytail. She whispered something in his ear and nodded. He turned back to the camera, still smiling.

LT: I think it’s time to wrap this up. As much as I would like to continue, I’m afraid I can’t. When a woman this lovely and this charming asks you to come back to bed, you just don’t say no. I’m sure Mr. Owusu will have something to say about a lot of the things I have said tonight, and while I look forward to hearing them, I must depart. Goodnight.

LT stands and allows his wife to lead him by the hand from the office. The scene slowly fades to blackness from the empty office. The Tendonin Xchange logo briefly flashes before the screen goes dark again.

End Scene.

For what purpose do I have... for what battles will I fight... I must endure the hardships with one step at a time, but with each step, they get further and further away. I stretch my legs with power and courage to not fall back down or make a mistake, but with the steps being more than a few feet away, I slip and return to the start.

Shane Warner, welcome to the world of Avris Mardini. A complicated life full of past memories that will never fade. You're nothing more than just a ton of muscle. Merely more than 100 lbs than I am. You are obviously a lot taller than I. But to me, that's not intimidating. Whatever battle I'm put in, I'll fight til the end.

Flashback – Young Avris is shown facing toward the corners that meet by the walls. A completely white door is right beside her. She looks over to her brother Diego whom is facing the other corner in the home. Diego looks toward Avris. They both giggle. Their dad, Jose, comes into view.

Jose: Face the fucking corner! That's another hour that you'll be there!

The flashback ends but another one sets in...

Avris' dad is shown above her brother Diego while Diego is being beaten the life out of him by their dad. Avris is crying. She runs up to her dad screaming.

Avris: STOP!!!

Avris slaps him really hard on the back. Her dad stands up as she runs towards her room. She locks the door and he tries to get in. The door almost immediately cracks of brute force from her dad.

Flashback

Ashley, Avris' sister, is shown in view. She's all drugged up on medication and quite possibly methamphetamine. Ashley begins to start an argument out of no where, probably due to the effect from the drugs.

Ashley: Stop being a bitch.

Avris: I may be a bitch but I'm not a drug addict like you.

Ashley: Blah blah blah at least I'm not a slut like you when you slept with Kevin.

Avris: Shut the fuck up!

Avris goes over to Ashley and drags her up by her long hair. The two start fighting in front of their grandma. Ashley throws a vacuum at Avris but barely misses. Avris grabs Ashley's head and bangs it into the carpet. Avris kicks her in the stomach multiple times. Ashley starts crying from the agony.

Another flashbackAvris opens up the door to catch Ashley so they can talk. Instead, Ashley doesn't want that and right when Avris opens the door, Ashley throws a hard punch to Avris' nose. She starts bleeding everywhere. Red, pure red. The drips pour down Avris' face. This doesn't bother her. Ashley thinks she got the upper hand and the advantage but even with the blood falling, Avris grabs Ashley and punches her in the stomach. Avris continues to dramatically assault her sister. Ashley got what she deserved.

My heart is racing. My head is pounding. But this is common anxiety and paranoia. I'm nothing more than a bother. Worrying about what may happen. Oh well.

Coming into view, Avris is shown with a man. The man with her is Kyle, her boyfriend.

Kyle: You're facing Shane Warner, right?

Avris: Yes.

Kyle: You think you'll be okay?

Avris: You may know me much, but you don't honestly know how much potential I carry.

Kyle: Okay, haha, sorry. I just care about you.

Avris: Same here. Avris smiles.

Kyle: Well I better get to work. I love you.

Avris: Love you, too. Bye.

Kyle leaves their bedroom heading to his job. Avris sits their alone. She reaches over to the bedside. In her hand, she holds a yellow can that reads “Sparks: Lemonade”. Avris opens the malt drink and brings it to her lips. She takes a few gulps of the drink then sets it back down. She looks outside the window, feeling lonely and the derealization sets in.

It's been a while since I've been abused. But either way, I'm constantly being emotional abused or physically abused. Anyhow, Shane Warner, I'm not going to be scared by a guy much bigger than me. Do remember that I've been in fights with all of my family. Not just cussing and screaming, but actual physical fights. These fights consisted of kicking, shoving, bleeding, crying, punching. Fists connected to the face, kick to the back, any way you could possibly imagine. The pain of the contact did hurt, yes. But the emotional pain brought on by the brutality of fights. What happened to my family, you may wonder. Yeah, I wonder that, too. We were always separated to begin with. Everyone says it must be hard to have my parent's divorce. It was severely hard. But I think of it as we were never together to begin with. There has been times when it was normal. And now that's how my personality is. One day I'm okay, then the next is catastrophe. I wish I can control it, I really do. But about Beach Bash. It's me against you. Just because I'm smaller than you, doesn't mean I can't pull it off. The heart is where the desire and will is. My will is to become the greatest wrestler. I'll show you the amount of pain I have dealt with my whole life. Shane, this is only the beginning. You will bring upon the remembrance of the abuse I felt. That's okay. My flashbacks on Beach Bash will be more than just anxiety. Because I know you're capable of a lot, too. That's fine. I will put my limits to the test. And I don't really know much about you. All I know is that you're cocky, conceited, and consider yourself the best just like most people. I'm not like that. I put my confidence on the line as well as my body. If you shatter my goal, you also shatter my mindset. However, I'm still more than glass. I'm fragile, but unlike a mirror, I can connect those pieces back together. I'm not only testing myself, but I'm testing you. It's wrestler against wrestler. Don't need to look at it any other way. You can boast all you want, but I'm sure I'll be the hammer to nail you down. I've built this foundation of skill mixed with my heart's image. And if you're dragged down by me, the foundation will only build into a bigger establishment. I'll establish my name into SCW. Shane, you can hurt me all you want, but when I win, I want to do the exact same to destroy your reputation as a person and a wrestler. I've seen you also are an actor but I ask that you don't act upon our match. Otherwise the match will be for nothing. I expect your full strength and your entire potential. Think of me as your worst enemy because that's what us wrestlers do. It's nothing personal, no, I just want to hurt you. Whatever it takes to build a bridge.

Avris grabs the malt again and chugs the rest down.

I love this feeling. The relaxation that a drink brings upon my body. It's so refreshing. My way of a great comfort.

Shane, you're still new to me, as I am new to you. You've faced many opponent's, I do remember. You have been in many federations while this is just my start. I promise to you though, I'm different than anyone you have ever faced. Have you ever fought a girl before? Maybe, maybe not. Either way, like I said, I encourage you not to picture it like that. I have a lot more fight than you think I do. Looks can fool you and you should never judge a book by it's cover. One of the most common quotes in the human life, yet true at the same time. I may not hold any titles or have any accomplishments as the other wrestlers here in this federation or the other federations out there, but that doesn't matter. What matters to me is dedication, hard work, and perseverance. I'm gonna sweat, I'm gonna bleed, I'm gonna see what I used to see in the past. In my darkest days, I'm still the angel in the dark. I'll bring light upon SCW. Here's to us, and this match.

Avris stands up and reaches under her bed. Out from it, she pulls out a bottle of vodka. Avris opens it and doesn't take just a shot, she drinks half of the bottle.

I'll save the rest for later.

Avris puts the vodka bottle back under her bed. The scene disappears in an instant.

What a joke….

Cam is sitting inside his home in Savannah, and he crumples up the paper he was holding and throws it to the floor with a disgusted look.

Teamed with a nobody who makes bold claims and against a team that is poor pathetic wannabes. I’m not sure which is worse, but I’ll start with my opponents….well my scheduled opponents. Viva La Revolucion….essentially the Revolution Not much of a Revolution are you? I mean, first you bailed on HCW right before FTWO, which makes one wonder if you truly feared what could be the potential tag division there, and honestly you haven’t done a lot in SCW. Now you run into someone who is a tag specialist, someone who has held tag titles on several occasions and….amazingly, I hope you are ready for this, ready to have your butt beat by someone who can do the job by themselves…..

Which it appears it may be. Joe Burden, the wonder kid, the answer to all our prayers…yeah right. Really Burden, one look at your resume, one look at the claims you have made, and it leads a person to wonder why either you are hiding behind a name, or if you are making claims that are not your own. Honestly I don’t care because you see Jordan Post put me in this match, and I’ll tell you this right now. If you or the pathetic excuse for our opponents dare to show up for this match, I will kick everyone’s ass to prove to Post that he pushes hard enough, and I will fight back.

I really don’t give two shits about any of you, or about Post. I’m here to make sure that people don’t jump my protégé’s back. If I get to hurt or even maybe take a few of you out in the process, even better

The camera opens and we see Neela Shizeguma sitting inside a hotel room somewhere dressed in peach colors tank top and shorts, her dark hair pulled back, accentuating her skin and obvious fit body. She has the SCW title and she sees a bit concerned, and a bit disappointed or angry

Neela: I've waited patiently for Macy Kaos to make some smart ass remark about having to face me once again, But I’m truly amazed. Why? Because for once Macy, you aren’t running your mouth. I can think of a thousand reasons why you aren’t saying anything. Let me…explore a few of those reasons.

One, well you realize that you’ve come up against someone that while you’ve faced me before, you really don’t know me. I mean we’ve faced each other two times in the ring and both times you’ve been defeated by either me, or Cam and me. You’ve been so focused on one thing, and that is procuring the SCW title for yourself or that bimbo you’re friends with, Jessica Justice that I wonder have you REALLY taken time to get to know me? People think that because I was trained by Cam Davitt and Lynn Brewster that my technical prowess would be equal to Cam’s, or that I’m willing to fight my way through any match like Lynn. But you forgot my other training, training I received from my father, training that made me a high flyer. Which means you can’t think I’m only one “type” of wrestler because I am three different ones rolled into one.

Next, I think you aren’t saying anything because you flat out know that you don’t stand a chance in that ring against me. In fact, I hope you know you have no business in that ring with me. I think what happen at the last pay per view was more than proof of that, even if your friend Jessica decided she needed to….:”help” you win. Don’t start on a tangent of “well yeah that was a fluke thing”. I got in that ring and you FELT for yourself exactly what I am capable of doing. Tell me how did it feel when I hit with you both my finishers? I know you can understand somewhere in that brain of yours that I am one of the best wrestlers SCW has to offer, one of the true wrestlers, not someone who has to cheat or have someone help them to win.

Neela shifts in the chair, slowly crossing her legs, savoring where she is going next.

Macy, you do realize that the first time you faced me you lost because Jessica interfered. That was pretty low, but I realize you knew you couldn’t beat me on your own. I am leagues above you so what other choice did you have to do but have Jessica help you. But I wonder if you realize how pathetic that makes you look. You haven’t….you can’t seem to beat me clean. But see at Beach Bash there is something that will slow Jessica down…there will be a cage. Even better, an electrified cage. Now some people, some people you may or may not have heard of hate cages, they fear them, or use to fear them or all that. I don’t because I see it being an equalizing factor. It’s an equalizing factor….because it keeps the one thing you can’t seem to be without on the outside….Jessica. That means you have to prove you can beat me all on your own. But have you ever felt electricity flowing through your veins….maybe you have, but have you felt it happen when you least expect it? It stuns you, it throws you off your game. That cage can be your worst enemy if you aren’t truly prepared. My trainers….all of them, my father included, made sure I was as prepared as I could before the unexpected.

Then we have pride….we have a lot of pride on the line. See Macy I have something going into this match that you don’t. I have an undefeated streak. I came by it with hard work and determination. I didn’t come by an undefeated streak by cheating. Honestly until your friend pointed it out a few weeks ago I hadn’t even considered it, but then….the more I’ve thought about it, the more it makes sense, I am the best wrestler in SCW, and this title….well is huge proof of that.

You know you are coming into this match with a defeatist attitude, knowing that nothing, but nothing I can lay on you, do to you will you be able to fight out of.

So Macy why don’t you save yourself the embarrassment and sit at home, feel sorry for yourself in your quest to become SCW champion and realize two things. First off that you are no right to follow in the footsteps of those before you, or in this case…in my footsteps. You aren’t worthy to lick the bottom of my boots. And second that you are in this all alone, and no one, not even your dear little bimbo Jessica can save you. I will retain at Beach Bash, I will remain SCW champion, and heaven help me, I will break free of some evil spell you’ve cast over management that says I have to beat you into the dust. In fact, why don’t you just quit, save yourself the embarrassment of the loss, and save yourself the embarrassment of having to tuck your tail between your legs. Jessica has stayed with you this long even though you are empty handed, I’m sure she won’t mind keeping your dead weight around a bit longer.

Scene 1: Macy's Rantings.

The scene sets in a warm spot in Elmira, New York. We see Macy, standing near her old home, or what was left of it. What we see is the charred remains of what was once a beautiful two story home, but now, because of a psychotic relative of Macy's, specifically, her mother, Macy's childhood, which was in that home, was now a burned, charred up mess. There were masses of charred ash and dirt everywhere. There were still wood splinters everywhere. As Macy carefully stepped through them, she spoke. See, Macy did not want to relive this but it was necessary to do so if she wanted to move on and focus on the matchup at hand. To her, it was a a way of therapy. Reliving her past was a way of keeping her calm. While some had cigarettes and such things, and while Macy did smoke, this was her other way of keeping calm. At that time, she takes out a cigarette, and lights it, as she smirks.

“Well, well well, Neela. We've been here before. We've been here at my old childhood home. We've been in the ring before. But this will be like no other time. See, what you see here is charred remains, which is very symbolic of the match at hand. It symbolizes an end to something and a new beginning, which is what you will get in this matchup, Neela.”

As she picks up some of the charred remains of her former life, she recalls how her mother raped her. She recalls how she was barely able to get away and call the police, having her mom arrested. It made her feel upset that her own mother would do something like that. It made her sad that her entire childhood was burned to the ground, as it was all in this former land mass that was now charred. As she takes another puff of her cigarette, she speaks, as a look of confidence, yet at the same time, sorrow crosses her face. Confidence because she knew she had this in the bag. Sorrow because again, this was her childhood and it was all burned to the ground now.

“Reason I say this, Neela, is because the phoenix always rises. It always rises from the ashes and I am that phoenix. You think you have me backed into a corner but like that phoenix I will rise, fight back and take the win, when you don't expect it. And in doing so, I will prove that I don't need Jessica to help me out. See, I am representative of that phoenix because no matter what, I will rise and keep my goal in mind until I achieve it, no matter who I take down on my way there. This phoenix has been down long enough and it is time for her to rise to the occasion.”

As she recalls those not so fond memories, she also recalls how Jessica helped her out of the situation she was in. She recalls how Jess found her and gave her a home and clothing. How she took her in like her own sister. Macy appreciated this and was about to expand on it. She could have said this a dozen ways but this would be the best, considering this was going to air and she didn't want the company to go out on account of her rage toward Neela and this subject.

“Neela, let me tell you what happens next in this story. What happened is that Jessica would find me, literally, in a gutter, nearly nude, wearing nothing but a tattered shirt, smoking cigarettes and just hoping that my mom wouldn't find me. I lived in paranoia, Neela! I was running scared of my own flesh and blood! But just like my mom will eventually learn not to fuck with me, so will you. See, you've fucked with me and my best friend for the last time.”

And now, she would relate that to the upcoming contest. July 22nd. SCW's “Beach Blast.” As she smiled a bit, she would recall just how much this match meant to her. She would recall just how badly she wanted the title and how she would do anything to gain the title. She would recall just how her childhood could be related to this match and just how she would tie it all in.

“Now you may wonder how this story relates to you. It's really simple. When July 22nd rolls around and we step into that cage, there is going to be a lot of things. There will be bloodshed. There will be brutality and fury. But most of all, there will be a fight. And one you cannot win because simply put, with the mood I've been in since I lost to you for the first time, I'm not the lady to mess with. But yet you come back to try and mess with me again? Bad idea, Neela. But none the less, at Beach Blast, inside that cage, it will be me and you. And in the end, it will be me lifting the SCW World title above my head and finally achieving my goal. It will be me finally ending you and becoming the SCW World Champion.”

And now, she would tell her goals once she obtained the title. What could those be? Well, no one knew for sure but she was about to tell everyone about that and do so right now! As she cracks a smile, she speaks, very confidently, as the cameraman notes the look in her eyes.

“And once I'm champion, which will happen, Neela, as we both know, its fate. But when it does happen on July 22nd, I guarantee you that you will never see another shot as long as I have the belt. In fact, anyone but you can step up, whether it be Avris Mardini, whether it be Shane Warner or even those mexican jokes, Viva La Revolucion, or even that half deaf cheerleader I spoke of earlier. I'll take on and beat anyone. Because you all need to realize one thing. And that is that Macy's gonna kill you.”

Fade in and we are inside the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida where we see our subjects sitting towards the top right row facing the ring. They’re wearing Hawaiian style shirts, blue and red swim shorts, and sunglasses. Sitting in their lap is a pamphlet advertising Beach Bash coming up in a few weeks. As they reach the end of the pamphlet, Antonio looks incredibly annoyed. Alejandro is stumped at his reaction all for Antonio to slam it down.

Antonio: “What’s the meaning of this? After you bust your ass in the main event against Luscious Tendonin we’re stuck facing this garbage? They’re not even a real team! You’re talking about one guy who hasn’t said a word all week after making a million promises in another fed in Joe Burden. On the other side, you have a man that’s more preoccupied with arguing with Jordan Post. Will they even care about this match? Of course not, this is yet another case of management just like America trying to bury the far superior race.”

He nods as he rises to a vertical base. He then walks over to the flight of stairs between aisles and points at all the seats at his surroundings.

Antonio: “Just like these fools, you’re used to settling for mediocrity. These fools have seen their own stars end up leaving all to achieve success elsewhere. Just like these fools, you’ve had to watch your auntie Lynn and friends pass you by just like Shaquille O'Neal and Dwight Howard, while you’re stuck being proud of being a tag team specialists. Your threats certainly don’t scare me. There is no reason for me to explain my actions to a fool that can’t even escape the mid card. The fact you even think you deserve to share the same ring as us is comical at best.”

He rolls his eyes and spits on the floor. He then scowls back at the camera as he prepares to speak.

Antonio: “The fact of the matter is, this match was made to prove our point to two people that have no clue what they’re facing. Have they even teamed before? Nope, we’ve teamed since we were in high school. You can’t break a bond like that. You can’t defeat someone when you don’t even trust your own partner. While you’re out there worrying about your partner and about the boss, I’ll be getting ready to plant my foot up your ass. I’ve wasted enough energy on you. I’m ready to take out the trash in two weeks, if you even have the balls to show up.”

He walks away as the camera pans back to Alejandro. He’s shaking his head at the moment, releasing a frustrated sigh right after.

Alejandro: “Sorry you had to put up with that. He lets his success get into his head way too much. He may be a jerk but I tolerate him since he’s like a brother to me. As long as he straightens his head out in time for the match, which he often does, I can let that slip by. The fact of the matter is I respect your in ring ability and your experience however it’s time to take a stand. For the past four years, we’ve had to sit here wrestling in dark matches and in the independent scene all for management to continue to overlook us. Just last week we got jumped by Shane Warner due to our ethnic background. That’s something that needs to stop yet no one in this country has the balls to combat it.”

He looks up at the ceiling as his hands bottle up into fists.

Alejandro: “You want to talk about burdens, Joe? Try dealing with living in poverty, having to fight for every drop of water and bread crumb, yet being paid next to nothing for it. Try being insulted for being yourself at every turn. Your motto is that just because you had to suffer we deserve it back. By doing so, you’re not any better than the people that use stereotypes. The same people that call my race a piece of garbage are the same people you’re duplicating with your actions. That certainly sounds like a walking contradiction there.”

He turns back to the camera and arches an eyebrow, allowing that thought to sink in momentarily.

Alejandro: “Now, I certainly don’t care what either of you has done in the past because it’s not relevant to right now. You’re both admitted veterans of other companies having fought for championship gold but at the end of the day, we both have done absolutely nothing in SCW. No bragging rights, no nothing. We both are in identical positions of having made our mission known by the entire world and now time to prove it. Instead of trying to pry out of us why we left certain companies, Cam, how about you convince us of why you deserve said arrogance? You’re not facing Jordan Post this time, you’re facing us. In due time you’ll learn why we are called Viva La Revolucion.”

OOC: Short promo, don't know what to come up with and my arm is getting absolutely tired. :P

Odom, I can't particularly say that I know much about you. Whether you're happy or sad on the inside is not my business, but what I've seen so far, you seem like a competitor worthy of something. Besides that, I'm not sure what actions you may take. So I've studied you closely trying to get down your moves to better myself. Here in this position, I will not know how you fight due to the fact you're a new opponent to me. Odom, you have some character in you that can't compel me to say anything deceitful. I'm not one of trash talk anyhow. I'm well more mannered.

We see Nunoj in his backyard. The lake in front of him is glimmering with delight from the sun's beams.

You have held a couple of titles, and don't have that bad of a record. So I'm looking forward to our match, dear opponent of mine.

The screen opens at a local park located in Orlando, Florida where we see Jesse Owusu walking around the streets aimlessly with his hands on his pocket and his eyes focused intently on the camera. With him is his fiancée Gabrielle Michaels who has his SCW North American championship on her shoulder, admiring the gold as if it was her own. Jesse smirks before opening his mouth to speak.

Jesse : What does being a SCW North American champion means to me? What does it mean having my first title defense at the PPV Beach Bash? What does it mean to me face a tough opponent like Lucius Tendinon for my championship? Nothing...absolutely nothing. This championship...is nothing to me because I know that I’m better than this. No, I’m not the best wrestler in North America. I’m the best wrestler in the world and the fact that I have to lower my standards and hold a title that doesn’t even have a prestige in it disgust me. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy that I’m the first SCW North American championship, but it pains me that while I’m stuck fighting these losers. I deserve the main event. I deserve the spotlight. Not Neela whatever her last name and definitely not that tranny Macy Kaos. But you know what its fine. For so long I have been underutilized in every company that I have been in, so I’m used to this. Same old shit, different company. However Jordan, my good old buddy, you and I both know very well I deserve to be the world champion and one day, I will be gunning for the title. But for now, let me just beat more losers. Speaking of loser, might as well talk about my opponent Lucius.

The summer rays glazes on the eyes of the Young Life, but it doesn’t bother him as he continues walking with Gabby. He notices that fans are waving and trying to get his attention, but his fiancée gabby is shooing them away

Jesse : Let me tell you the difference between Lucius and me. No wait, let me first compare each other and find out the similarity. Lucius and I have a close relationship with Jordan Post which sparks controversy that both of us don’t deserve to be fighting to for the championship. Fucking idiots don’t know that if there was any bias, Jordan would have gave both of us a shot for the world championship. And it seems like everyone forgot that I defeated Odom fair and square for the SCW NA championship. You also earned the opportunity too Lucius by defeating Odom. But then again, it seems like everyone and their grandma defeated Odom. Shows how overrated he is, but that’s a different subject for a different time. Another similarity is that we both have been in the wrestling business for a long time. We’re not rookies, but veterans in this little game we call wrestling. You studied my tapes and have a sense of idea of what I'm capable of and I have done the same thing bro. However video tapes and analysis cannot truly compared us to see who the better man is unless we settle it in the ring. You know it and I know it. But props for you to actually researching. Some of these cats nowadays don’t researching and go in the match with their head between their asses. We both have our struggles and our accomplishments. In paper, this match has all of the making to be a classic. Hell, it could be a show stealer...all depends on you bro. As for me, I’m born ready to steal the show. Whether during my rapping days or now, at the end of the day, everyone in the fucking attendance talks about me. But what about Lucius? What makes you special? What makes you different from the rest of the wrestlers here in SCW? Tell me. I’m looking forward to your answer

Jesse then stops walking and starts rubbing his chin, deep in thought.

Jesse : I find if funny though, that you of all people Lucius, happens to be my first challenger. I mean come on, didn’t you wanted to quit SCW after your tag-team loss? Didn’t you almost took your ball and run when the going got tough and you couldn’t handle the pressure? Then suddenly, you “changed” your mind. Why is that> Maybe Balthazar Cross and the critics are right. Maybe the reason why you’re in this match is because you’re friends with Jordan Post. Hmmm, I don’t know Lucius...something smells fishy. Fast forward to two months later after your loss, and here you’re, earning the opportunity to face me for my SCW NA championship. And then you have your match against Alejandro. And boy oh boy, have you disappoint me LT. You ....got your ass kicked by Shane Warner? Really? Shane fucking Warner? You allowed yourself get blindsided by that overrated The Rock wannabe Shane Warner? You see me, I don’t get blindsided, especially from has-beens. I attack people from behind. Hell I did that to those two imbeciles who I currently forgot their name at my debut. Call it cheap, call it disrespect...but I call it making an impact for myself. Unlike you LT, I don’t allow people to make a name of themselves in my suspense. And you know what disappoints me the most, the fact that you didn’t called out Shane Warner for the attack. You basically shrugged it off and let Shane get away with it. If that was me, I would call out Shane and get my revenge. But then again LT, you’re not me. You’re not a star like me. You’re not the best in the fucking galaxy like me. And that what makes us so different from each other. The fact is LT, you’re just like Odom. Goody-two shoes overrated crap that happens to be buddy with Jordan Post and the only match that you won was against freaking Odom. That’s all. But you know what; I’m looking forward to this match. I’m looking forward to kicking your pearly white teeth down your throat. I’m looking forward to ONCE AGAIN, prove to the world that I deserve the main event spot and I’m overdue for it. So go ahead, bring your A-game, and I will bring my A plus game. The revelation is coming and your destiny falls into my hands...are you ready?

Jesse flashes a grin before kissing Gabrielle. The screen focuses on the championship belt before fading out.

The sound of metal striking itself and the sounds of grunting mingled as the scene opened in a local Gym in Cleveland, Ohio. There were three men and three women in the view of the camera. As it moved closer, they could be recognized. The Tendonin Xchange was training. LT was seen lying on a bench, pressing an Olympic bar. His brothers Matt and Jason were his spotters. His older sister Candice and Michelle, the twins, were close, but they were focusing on Jessica, LT’s wife. She too was bench pressing, but her bar weighed three hundred, whereas LT was pumping a hundred more. After a few moments, LT stopped and took a break. Bumping fists with his brothers, they all grabbed a plastic cup and filled it with a red beverage from a Gatorade cooler. LT downed his first one, and then refilled, quickly downing that one as well. Throwing the cup to the garbage, he turned to the camera.

LT: You know who I am, and you know who they are, so we won’t linger on that. What you see here is a Tendonin Training Session. My sisters are working with my wife, and my brothers are helping me. Why? Because big things are about to happen. In SCW, that is. For one, my wife will soon be making her debut for SCW after being signed for over two months with no action. Me? Well, you know what I have on my plate. Jesse Owusu. The North American Champion. Yes, is almost that time, and right now, while we trade insults and heavy words, the fans are sitting on their couches at home, picking their winners, and crossing their fingers. You and me, Jesse? We ain’t gonna be crossing fingers. We’re gonna be breaking them. See, I just saw your video package, and I enjoyed it, for the most part. Regarding that two bit loser Shane Warner? He’ll get his when the time is right. I don’t let miniscule idiots on the side derail me. You are my priority right now, and for good reason. You are the champ, and I’m the challenger. But we all already know this. You’ve been saying you are main event material and that the belt you currently hold means nothing to you, and that it is disrespectful to have to have competed for it instead of the world title? You won’t have to worry about being North American champion for much longer. My plan at the Beach Bash is to relieve you of its weight.

LT stopped talking and picked up a twenty pound dumbbell and worked it in his left arm, continuing to speak as he did so.

LT: I don’t think you deserve that belt, but not because you have an attitude problem, or because you feel that the SCW locker room should bow down to you, or because you think Jordan Post owes you something. The reason I feel this way is, in my eyes, you haven’t proven anything here in SCW. You have one match, and it was against Odom. That’s what we have in common. Beating Odom, as you said. But my point is, I worked to the belt. I didn’t get handed the match for it. Props to you for winning the second tier title in your first and thus far only match in the company, but what have you proven here? That you can interrupt a match for a tournament, and then get handed a title shot? MY first match in SCW, what happened? I took a loss courtesy of the Cross brothers. I bounced back from that and beat Odom the following week to get a shot at you, Champ. Week after that, me and Alejandro nearly ended the match in a draw in our enthusiasm to impress the SCW audience and win the match. We fought our way back to the ring, where I picked up the win. My point is, you came in, bat up a few guys and stopped a match and for that you were given the match for the North American Championship. I came in, lost, and picked up two wins afterwards. The difference between Odom vs Owusu and Tendonin vs Owusu will be the outcome. Odom was a decent level opponent, but I know you will be tougher. And it will be that much sweeter when I win the belt from you. Who knows, after you lose, maybe you’ll get a shot at Neela’s belt, as a reward for your effort. If anybody around here is getting favors from JP, it would be you, Champ. Let’s check the history books. You come in wearing a hood and you attack Ricardo and Zero, who were competing in a tournament for the World Title. Your punishment? You get a title match. I come in as a favor for a buddy, having signed a one night contract, and I lose. I stand backstage and watch the rest of the show, and decide that I NEED to be here, and find JP and sign a full contract. Pray tell, who does it look like is getting favors? But I’m not here to talk about that. I didn’t have this gentleman travel here to record me talk about how you got your belt. I had him come here to record my message to you on how you’re gonna lose the belt. No Holds Barred Match, Jesse Owusu defends his SCW North American Championship against Lucius Tendonin. That’s the headline. The match is the second from last, and one, if not both championships, will change hands. My confidence is my sword, and your cockiness and attitude is your shield. That championship deserves someone who will cherish it, treat it with respect, and be happy to hold it, and be honored to be the champion. That person is not you. So, in closing, I will say this. The clock is ticking, and in just a few weeks, we will see the first title change in SCW. I think my wife would like to say a few words now.

Jessica was sitting on a bow flex looking machine, pulling the ropes, making the bars behind her bend and move. She was dressed in her usual training and workout attire, and her body was drenched in sweat and her hardening muscles were flexing as she worked. She was silent for a few minutes, finishing up. When she spoke, it was in a calm, but worked tone.

Jessica: I’m sure my Jessicans are anxious to see me in the SCW ring, but fear not. I got a call from JP and that will soon be happening. My opponent is someone who has been in SCW a bit longer than me, but I have her number. Why? Because I know who she is, but she doesn’t know we have a match coming up. Unfortunately, I can’t reveal this as of yet. My official in ring debut here in SCW will be no different than any other time I’m in the ring. I will come down the ramp, kick some ass, and do my hardest to win. While I can’t say who I’m facing yet, I can say this. She has no idea what she’s getting into, and I hope she’s ready. That’s all I have to say. Good bye, Johnny.

Johnny, the cameraman, shakes the camera and the scene fades to the Tendonin Xchange logo, followed by the Dragon logo and then the scene is blank.

We open up in studio that looks quickly assembled by the personal Assistant of Shane Warner and her staff for a short promotional video. There is a dark blue back drop with the words ‘Shane Warner’ in giant lettering beneath the official SCW logo. The camera pans out and a lone stool is seen. Shane Warner walks into shot wearing a very expensive Gucci suit, he takes his place on the stool and has is mic wired up, while make up artists run around touching up his make-up and other staff adjusts lighting, so the man in the spotlight looks perfect. Shane’s PA waves away her staff out of shot as an on-air countdown can be heard.

“I’ve taken time out from filming my new movie to address a few things involving SCW. I started shooting this movie the day after XPW’s Sixth Years Strong PPV where I won yet another title belt to add to the other 23. You will forgive me for leaving it this late to speak to you all, if you cant then that’s you’re problem. I’m tired, I’ve had a busy few months and I just want to get this out of the way. I can’t say it’s a pleasure being in SCW because its not. I’m here because of two things really, the first being money! I was begged by the owner of SCW and paid a lot of money to be in SCW. I was told this federation is in need of huge superstar to pull in viewers and put SCW on the map, and that is exactly what I’m going to do. Nobody can deny I’m the biggest draw this federation has and will ever likely to have, that’s why I’m paid so much. My name is already on the tip of everyone’s tongue as I’m mentioned by a large percentage of the guys here in their ego driven, self-promoting bullshit! Now, I’m not going to stand by and let jumped up little sons of bitches trash talk me because it makes them look good. Jesse Owusu is the prime candidate for what I’m talking about. Insults are hurled calling me a wannabe and a has-been. I can’t help but laugh at anything Jesse says, because he is nothing but a small fish in a small pond. Jesse is what you call a never-was, he has potential but can never live upto it. He will jump from federation to federation trying to get some notoriety but will just get pushed down the ladder by guys that are far superior to him. There is nothing Jesse can say to justify his words, yet I speak the facts. I don’t even have to argue with the fact that I’m not a wannabe or a has-been because it’s simply not true and everyone knows that. Jesse’s words have just been discredited.“

“The next guy I’d like to address is Lucius Tendonin. Lucius, last week you were nothing but collateral damage. You can pursue me and get your revenge if you want, but for you’re sake you should just let the matter drop. To me you are not worth the time of day. I wanted Alejandro and you were just in the way. Deal with it. Alejandro, I find it hard to believe that after last weeks attack, you scarcely made light of the situation. I think you are trying to distance yourself from me. Is it a sign of fear? This brings me to the second reason I am here in SCW. One of the deciding factors of me being here is you Alejandro. After I was contacted for a possible contract with SCW, I tuned into see a sob story of the highest calibre. At first I thought it was an audition for American Idol, I really did think you were trying to get the sympathy vote, Alejandro. It’s pathetic that you think you were held back because of you’re poverty stricken childhood. That is the biggest pile of shit since the Iraq Dossier. Once you are in this business you are judged on talent, ability and star quality. You lack in all three areas, while I have it all. And how dare you say I chose to attack you because of you’re ethnic background and make me out to be a racist and xenophobe. I targeted you for one reason and one reason only, that reason being you think you deserve more than everyone else. Just because you had to work a little harder to get where you are doesn’t automatically place you above people who have natural star quality and ability. These people are fast tracked because it’s good for the company... Good for business to have the best at the forefront, so before you go all out with the sob story again think of the bigger picture.”

A brief pause while Shane’s PA hands him a bottle of water and a few aspirin showing he had been partying hard the night before, possibly celebrating his title win. He continues after a couple of gulps.

“Further down the line I’ll probably have to deal with the people I have mentioned but for the next week I’m now going to focus on Avris Mardini. It is the first time in my career I’ve been put against a woman wrestler. It will be a first for me but I will treat if with a great deal of caution. It is a proven fact that men are psychically stronger than woman. I believe that but I know that the current World Championship here is held by a woman, which brings me to highlight the fact that the guys I mentioned earlier, Jesse and Lucius are a big disappointment to this business. I intend to restore the true balance that men are superior to women. I will make sure that the proverbial glass ceiling is back in place. Hearing Avris speak reminds me a lot of Alejandro, you both make yourselves victims of society instead of pulling you’re heads out of your asses and fighting. After I heard what you had to say, I find it quite fascinating that you can easily block out memories and pretend they didn’t happen. That is the worst form of ignorance I know of and it just goes to show the type of person you are, Avris. I have already taken a strong disliking to you and that will only grow greater come nearer to our encounter. If you’re plan is to become the greatest wrestler, then you’re even more deluded than I first thought. Every one of you’re words spoken makes me want to cringe, I really don’t want to hear from you again and it’s making me second guess my time here if this is the sort of calibre I will have to face of a regular basis. On so many levels you are wrong in everything you say but on one subject you are so far from the truth Stevie Wonder knows you’re full of shit! This is wrestler verses wrestler... no, this is wrestler verses legend. People need to realise my greatness in this industry and if I need to beat it into them, then so be it. Avris, it’s time for you to dream another dream... because for you this dream is over!”

With that Shane stands up, rips off his mic and walks out of shot.

If he thinks he can pull my tongue and catch me off guard, he's wrong.

A beach is seen upon the opening view of the promo. Seagulls caw up above in the trance filled sky, which are colors of orange and pink like an aurora, making this a lovely landscape to be around. The sun is a gleaming orange, beaming down upon the beach. By the way the sun is facing, it looks like it is close to 7:00 at night. A woman lays on a blanket which below the blanket is sand. She sits up, making her first appearance on the camera. The woman is Avris Mardini. She is all alone, no one else is around. Avris is wearing a two piece bikini and sunglasses. Both pieces of the bikini are black and the top piece of the set has a purple skull on it. She inhales fresh air.

It's nice being alone. No worries. No people here to bother me. Just me and this beach. Relaxing is my kind of thing.

So, Shane, you finally decided to show your face to SCW instead of being around that cheap acting crap, huh? This whole time you were more focused on that instead of our match. Seems like I don't appear as a threat. Don't give me this sympathy lecture about how I played the sorrow card and need someone by my side. I don't need you to sit there and complain about how sickening it is for me to say those things in which I previously said. Obviously you didn't understand. I'm trying to show my true strength. I'm trying to put the past behind me. There's no “disregarding” my past. It's more of a leap forward. I'm attempting to leave the past in the past, and not bring it to my better future.

Avris reaches over to a bag beside her. She pulls out a beach towel and stands up from the other towel. Avris slides her black sandals on and wraps the beach blanket around her waist. She ties it then proceeds to walk. As she walks, she goes on about her soon to be victory against Shane Warner.

Shane, it was pretty rude of you to not mention me as much as the other competitors. And I see that you never faced a woman. See, you had a point there. You mentioned the current world champion is a woman. That means we can just be as strong as the men in the federation. You have to understand that this is a split world. You probably see yourself as the dominant one whenever you pick up a girl, but in reality, we are just as aggressive. And I'm an aggressive type of person when you piss me off. Look at it this way Shane, just portray me as a fellow comrade. Either way, you still want to win, right? Just because I'm a woman doesn't mean you're superior in all sorts.

Avris sees a seashell beside her. She leans over and picks it up, admiring the intricate piece. She holds it in her fists, then treads along the beach line again.

See, Shane, you were never vulnerable to the world and society as you call it. But I'll have you know once you lose against me, Avris Mardini, you'll soon be a victim of sadness. You'll have nothing inside your heart besides regret of ever talking about me and the fact that you'd lose to a woman will break you even more. You said I make myself a victim to society but society never notices me. And nor do I care. The only thing that matters is here and now. Where you stand Shane, is in a very bad corner. You're in the darkness but you can't see it. You're blinded by your conceited attitude and never having been in the shadows, makes you blind. Your ignorance is worse than you make out mine to be. I have no ignorance for my feelings. I tell myself every day it's going to get better. The first step is here, making my name in a company that allowed me to be here. Me not having been in professional wrestling up until now, only brings me closer to my name being distributed on billboards. I've been training, I've been working hard, now to reassure myself, I'm keeping my physical and mental balance in equal parts. You're partaking in something great, Shane. This is the beginning for me, and the end to your high standards. You think money grows on trees or comes out of your ass. That's all you care about is money. For me being poor all my life, makes me see the true evil of money. My mom's gambling taught me that. I don't really care if you criticize my mom or not either. She tried her damn hardest to raise us kids when there was no one else to help her. I'm not even going to tell you to take a look in my life Shane because you will never understand the pain I've been through. No one can feel the wrath that I once endured. No one can feel how bad the shaking was when I had panic attacks from anxiety. But everyone can embrace in the glory that I will have when they witness me becoming something in life. I may still be under a lot of pressure from depression and so on, but you think that will bring me back down? No. I don't even care if you approve of my worthiness Shane because you're nothing to me. Whatever you say doesn't matter. I still don't see where you stand. You're selfish and a rotten pig. You make scum look good. Shane, you're just disgusting and not human being if you don't have a heart to begin with. And you know what? That makes me better than you. I already have you beat in that. And yet I want you to recognize me by my growth and wisdom instead of seeing me as a washed away soul. I want you to see the fall into the rise, instead of the rise into the fall, because rising gets you somewhere. Falling just brings you that much further back. I'm not going back to that world. Only in my mind it'll be there and besides that, this is for me and me only. I'm not going to do this for impressions on the fans. I'm doing this as a self-approval. This is my form of self worth. You may be some legend into the wrestling business but I'm legendary for not giving up. I'll bring your legend status back down into the dust, while I carve my name in the golden stone. So you can put everything you said to me behind you. Just leave it there, too.

Avris stops walking and turns to face the body of water. She looks out at the beautiful glimpse of water with the sunset over it as the closing. The scene ends.

My demons are my company.
I'm feeling like a zombie
My hands around my throat.
Tryin to make me choke”

As the cameras are led to the backstage area, Macy is found, standing inside a twenty foot high cage. Why was this? Well in her mind, the cage was her home as she had learned to fight inside it. As she stands in the cage, with a cross look on her face, she has on her black and orange short tights with “Kaos” on the back and flames on the sides, as well her knee high black and orange kick pads. She also had on an all black top with flames on it. The cage itself was made of steel and the walls around it were a dingy greyish white color. There were no coverings on these brick walls and Macy is seen holding onto the rungs of the cage, as she speaks.

Macy: Neela, Neela, Neela. First off, welcome to my den. You see, Neela, this steel cage is my second home. You see, while you were attempting to make a name for yourself, I was back in New York, training in cage fighting. I know every inch of this cage like it is my own daughter or son. I know just how to make sure you suffer for even stepping in with me. You see, you are not all that familiar with the halls of this cage, while I basically busted my ass in them when I was cage fighting at the age of fifteen. You see, that time as a cage fighter made me realize that to truly understand how the cage works, one must embrace it. And I embrace this cage. It is my lover. It is my passion. I feel this way for one reason. And that is that while you were struggling to make something of your existence, I was an underground cage fighter from eighteen up until last year, when my trainer, Brandy Danielle convinced me there was a bigger future in wrestling.

At that time, she does something very weird. She would then as a demo of her passion toward the cage...make out with the steel parts of it? What was this girl's problem? Had she lost it? As she laughs after the demonstration, she licks her lips, pacing around the cage, noting the steel surroundings of this mesh. She loved the cage like it was her own and wanted to make sure anyone that stepped in her yard didn't make it out in one piece. Why? Because to Macy, stepping into her den was trespassing, and Macy honestly didn't want people in her yard. To illustrate that, she was the old person that pulls out a shotgun when a stray dog is in the yard.

Macy: See there, Neela? Embrace the cage as I have. Embrace your inner fury. But let me get to your comments. You say that I don't deserve to follow in your footsteps? Well isn't that generic? I don't NEED to follow in anyone's footsteps. Why not? Because I am my own woman and not some pathetic leech. But once again, little Neela, you must embrace your inner fury to attain the greatest success in this business. And the true Macy Kaos, has not shown her face yet but she will come July 22nd. Beach Bash. Just remember that at Bash, there will be bashing of your skull into electrified steel. And once I am done there, the rest of your pathetic little body will burn and you will be nothing but an afterthought. In fact, I have a song that sums it up well.

“Ash to ash, dust to dust
Fade to black
Fortune, fame, mirror vain, gone insane (Sing it)
Fortune, fame, mirror vain, gone insane but the memory remains
Ash to ash (Ash to ash), dust to dust (Dust to dust)
Fade to black (Fade to black), the memories remain, yeah
To this faded Prima Donna”

As the beat kicks in, Macy is taken over, mentally, by the music. She is seen nearly in a mental trance, due to the musical effect on her. The music had put her into a zombie like trance and when she was like this, she was a machine of destruction that would blow through Beach Bash. The look in her blue eyes said it all. Macy had lost her mind and wasn't about to get it back. This music had a hold on her and obviously, it showed because she wasn't all there right now. As she spoke, her voice sounded nearly trance like as she looks up at the top of the cage and starts climbing.

Macy: Neela, even though you see me climbing, there is no way out of the cage come Bash. The climbing of this cage is symbolic. Symbolic of my fight from living in the gutters to become World Champion. After I char and scar you at Beach Bash, that dream will be realized and I will be on top of the company, where I belong, with you in a hospital bed, watching Kaos reign supreme in this company. And once I am champ, I dare anyone to take it from me. Because it's going to be an impossible task, simply because I am the most talented woman in this company, but you all already knew that so I don't need to say that again.

And now that the music had faded, she had lost her trance. So now it is noted that that song put her in the trance. As the song sticks in her mind, the trance resumes. As she paces around the cage, working herself into a frenzy, she speaks, with all the confidence in the world. She knew she had this one won and nothing was going to stop her from making sure of it.

Macy: Neela, to wrap this up, I will say this. Welcome to my steel cage jungle. But unlike most jungles, you will not make it out of this one in one piece. You won't simply because in this jungle, I am queen and anything I say goes. And also, let's face it. You weren't built for this type of match. You will not be able to stand the pain I am capable of inflicting. So just be ready because Kaos will reign supreme in SCW. It has been spoken. And thus it shall come to pass.

As our scene fades, Macy is seen laying on the floor of the cage, looking as though she would be taking a nap. But she wouldn't be napping come the show. But would her confidence help her or haunt her? Would Kaos reign supreme in SCW? To find out, tune in on July 22nd, to Beach Bash!
