Live December 4th, 2012 from the Valley View Casino Center, San Diego California
RP DEADLINE Tuesday November 27th, 11:59pm Central time

Main Event
Cam Davitt Versus Priest

SCW shut its doors suddenly in October before Texas Massacre could take place. But Jordan Post reopened the doors with a fresh new attitude and some new faces. In the main event of the return of SCW will be features two veterans of SCW, Cam Davitt and Priest. Cam Davitt followed Jordan Post to XPW in an attempt to get even further under Jordan’s skin, while it’s not know what Priest has been doing in the last month. For this return show Cam will step in the ring against Priest. Cam has yet to face the big man, but his tag partner Lynn Brewster did…and she soundly defeated Priest. Will Cam use Priest to send a loud message to Jordan as to what Jordan will be in for when they do meet? Or will Priest use Cam to send a message to everyone else that he is to be taken seriously?

Non-Title Match
Lucius Tendonin, Alternative Champion Versus Jesse Owusu

Lucius Tendonin was prepared to defend his title against Nunoj Haunara when SCW closed. In its return his title isn’t on the line, but Lucius will be facing Jesse Owusu, Jordan Posts’ right hand man, who was to take on SCW World Champion Neela Shizeguma. Will Lucius show why he is a very tough Alternative champion….or will Jesse show Neela why she should be a bit worried?

Jordan Post Versus Simone w/Angel

SCW Owner Jordon Post will be in action, as he takes on a newcomer to SCW Simone, who will have her manager Angel ringside. Rumor has it that Jordan is on a path to meet Cam Davitt, and many are thinking Jordon will use this match as warm up for that event. Simone is simply trying to earn her place in SCW. Will Jordon use Simone to make Cam Davitt think twice about facing Jordon? Or will Simone get her first win by taking down the SCW owner?

Eric Herrera Versus The Punisher

Eric Herrera is known through the wrestling circles for being a very formidable wrestler that has won titles in many federations, while little is known about The Punisher. Herrera has come to SCW to try and continue to show everyone exactly who he is, and why he should be feared. Punisher is looking to do exactly the same thing. Who will get the win, and show the SCW world what they are made of?

Mr. Pornstar Versus Chris Zero

Mr. Pornstar may not have had the best win/loss record in SCW before, but no one could deny that he could put on a hell of a match, and he has return with SCW opening up again. Not as much is known about Chris Zero, who will be ready to show everyone what he’s made of. Will Zero do precisely that? Or will Mr. Pornstar get a win that could move him up the ranks of SCW quickly?

RP Deadline November 27th, at1159pm central time.

Segments always welcome for the show, send to either Jordan or Star

A ring is being set up ahead of an SCW event later on in the evening, a man walks up to the ring, wearing jeans and a salmon shirt, with a single purple boa around his neck, he has a steel chair in hand also, to whit he climbs into the ring and steps through the middle rope, unfurling the chair and setting himself atop it carefully, and seating himself upon it, looking around the arena for a moment, inhaling deeply and exhaling, he shook his head slightly as if to snap him out of wherever his thoughts had drifted. He looks up to the camera that he'd obviously asked to follow him out.

"You know, it gets me straight away, the smell of this place, the feel of this place. It feels so long yet feels like yesterday since I last was in a professional wrestling ring. I know it sounds strange, but it feels like I've finally returned home, back to where I belong, and where I belong is competing with the best in the business for the greatest prizes in the business, and maybe I'll have to begin from the bottom again, like I have in the past, but hell, I'm going to prove to myself and to every single one of you fans that I can be once again, the Standard of Professional Wrestling."

Zero ponders this for a moment, stroking his stubbled jawline, he then continues.

"You might what ask what it takes to be the Standard? I guess everyone has a different interpretation, but here is mine, to show great athleticism, to show technical precision, to be the best you can be, to be a shining example to your peers and your audience and of course to entertain them as you do all this. For a long time, I was complacent, and after my last stint I had a fall. I was in a very dark place, until a chance meeting with an old friend who brought me here."

Zero stands and looks directly into the camera with determination, pointing at the camera for a moment as he speaks.

"Which brings me to my opponent this week, Mr Pornstar, I would usually limit it to good luck for our match and that we put on a show, but then you went and said some quite interesting things, that I feel like I should reply to. No, you haven't ever seen me wrestle, pal, but when the match is over, you will realise what separates you and I. Because I want this, I want this more than anything in the world, hell, I need this. You look as complacent as many guys I've seen in the past. I'm not here to say I'm better than you or anyone else, I'm here to prove it with my wrestling, when all is said and done, there is only one way to prove that and it's to make you tap or be down for the three count. I don't underestimate what you're capable of, my friend, but perhaps you should also take note of those words, for they are wise ones as is the big one. Respect."

Zero would pop his knuckles, rolling a shoulder and frowning deeply, before raising a fist, passionately.

"Let us talk about respect, because that's actually very interesting, as you seem to have none for me, despite knowing nothing of me, but I'm used to that, nothing new, as I said, I'll make you respect me in the ring if nothing else, no, what bothers me is your gross disrespect for this business. Mr Pornstar? Really? What example does that set? What image does that give to others? Women giving birth backstage, and I hope to hell that was staged, what has that to do with this business? It's insulting to the talent here and it's insulting to the business as a whole. So, yes, this match will be about respect, not just between you and I, but I plan to beat some respect for this business into you, win or lose."

Zero nods, affirming his words and dropping his fist, his arms spreading out welcomingly.

"But enough of that, that will be settled to the ring, I say to you fans, those who love this business, those backstage who wanna see the second coming of Chris Zero, and you'll soon see why I called myself the Standard, and you'll soon see how much one man can give for this business, for it's fans, for this company. I guarantee nothing but the best from me, for that is the Standard I'm going to have to meet. To my opponent this week, and in the coming weeks, the question is.... Can you meet it?"

Zero grins broadly, before stepping out of the ring and walking proudly up the ramp, inhaling deeply and once more taking in the atmosphere of the arena.

"Damn, it's good to be back."

Scene 1: Live the Revolution

The scene sets in lovely Paris, France. But today, it wasn’t so lovely, as there were grey clouds scattering the skies. As the cameras catch up to Simone, who is holding Angel’s hand, she has a hood on, along with red and black facepaint, as well as red short trunks, with “Rejected Angel” written along a cross, with angel wings on the left and right side. Her black hair was back in a ponytail and she was wearing black heeled boots, along with black arm sleeves, extending a bit off her shoulders and down her arms. As she spoke, the rain began.

Simone: Crown jewels. Each country has it’s own that they look up to and hail as the greatest thing to come out of their country. For example, England has the crown jewels, as well as Big Ben and the numerous royal buildings, such as Westminster Abbey. And my homeland of France, which is where I am now, there is one behind me, known as the Eiffel Tower. But see, that’s not the greatest thing to come out of France. But I will get into that later. Let me tell you all now why I’m here. Why I am here in SCW.

The rain begins to pick up, as Angel puts her hood up, not letting go of her girlfriend’s hand. As Angel’s eyes get lovestruck, Simone’s begin to get enraged, at the next topic she would discuss. And here came that topic. As the lightning began to flash across the sky, and the thunder clapped, the wind picked up, signaling that a storm was coming. Not only in the sky, but in the demeanor of Simone, as well.

Simone: I am here for one reason. And that is not for titles. That’s not for fame or for notoriety. Sure, those things are well and good. But I am here to fight for equality for my people. Who are my people you ask? Well, if it isn’t obvious by me holding a girl’s hand, I am a proud Lesbian. And I am here to fight for my people. Forget the bisexuals. They can’t make up their mind on what they want. Forget the trannies. They don’t even know their own sex. This is about the group that knows what they want. This is about my Lesbian sisterhood. For years, we were grouped with people who didn’t know their own sex, in trannies, or which gender they wanted. This is where the Lesbians are separated from that group. We belong in our own group. We are our own people. We are the greatest group in the world today. And what do people do?

As the rain picks up, Simone begins to walk faster and faster, nearly dragging Angel behind her as she does. As the clouds darken and the rain picks up, Simone then walks along the Champs Elyssee. As she views her reflection in the mighty river, she speaks up, very agitated by the treatment she was getting, even in her hometown. People were staring and laughing at her for being in a relationship with another girl.

Simone: They laughed. They scowled. For years, people have done that to my people. We have been spit on. We’ve been shunned and pushed to the back of the line. And why has that occurred? Because of our sexual preference. People consider us freaks just because we prefer the company of a woman over a man. Well that changes. Because once my Revolution begins, everyone will rue the day they ever treated us like this. And this is where we rise up and take what is ours. And what is ours is vengeance. What is ours is equality.

The rain then intensifies, as does Simone’s rage, as she continues to walk towards the Eiffel Tower, pulling her hood even further down. As she continues to walk at a frantic pace, she speaks, very confidently, while still retaining her intense rage. As the camera zooms in, it catches her green eyes turn red, with rage. Red with malice. And red with hatred. She was already more furious than this storm itself over how her people had been treated over the years.
And Jordan Post, you will be but the first victim in my quest for lesbian equality. As I stated, we were never equal. And it says in the American constitution that all people were created equal. And you will be the first step in our quest to make sure that is enforced. When I say our, it’s not only me. It’s the entire Lesbian community. The greatest community of people on earth. And in this match up, that will be proven, one step at a time. SCW, take heed.
The rain then intensifies even more as Simone’s eyes turn an even more fire red, signifying her intensity in this matter as well as her passion towards the subject. She was very passionate on this topic and wanted that to radiate as she spoke.

Simone: Because at the end of this, Simone will be on top, where she should be as queen of this company, and all lesbians WILL be treated equally. By the end of this revolution, not only will there be equality. But you will all respect my people. And in turn, you will realize that all these years of torture and torment over our sexual preference will go for not, as it will be you, straight people, that will be exiled. It will be you, bisexuals, that will be spit upon. And it will be you, transgenders that will be mocked and kicked around and told no, just like we were. And enough is enough. This is the beginning of the Lesbian Revolution. But I need all Lesbians to unite behind me and Angel. This is our time and we’re taking it. So SCW, and world as we know it, look out. Because this is the end of us getting picked on. This is the end of us being shunned. This is a new day. And you may ask. Who am I? Well it’s very simple.

As the sky darkens and hail starts to fall, Simone walks underneath the tower, as she slowly calms herself, catching her breath. But as the lightning begins to strike at ground level, Simone speaks, as her rage intensifies. She wanted people to know how intense a topic this was to her. It was more intense than a competitive sporting event. More intense than the last pitch of the World Series. As she lifts her hood, revealing her face and facepaint, she speaks.
Simone: My name is Simone. And I am the Rejected Angel.

Last Friday…

Fade in to the outside the Herrera household. The camera pans to show the neighborhood, cars whizzing past on this cold night in downtown Chicago. It then returns back to the center where the front door opens and Fury exits to check the mail. She enters the house back and lays one letter with the initials S-C-W on the table in front of Rain. Rain is sitting there drinking hot chocolate as he furrows his brow at the arrival. He looks up at Fury as she shrugs.

Fury: “I didn’t even know they were still open, to be honest.”

Rain takes a sip from his hot chocolate and opens the letter, inspecting its content closely. Once he’s done reading it, he does a face-palm motion and groans in disgust.

Fury: “What?”

Rain: “They want me to sign… as an active wrestler.”

Fury gasps and walks over to where he is seated.

Fury: “What about Jackson? He gave you the fight of your life all for you to let him down. You said you were done. How could you do this to us?”

Rain: “I’m sorry, baby. I really am. This is a hard decision. I miss this business like a drug and wish I could come back, especially to here.”

She places her hands on his shoulders and shakes him.

Fury: “What about us? Do you realize how much pain you’ve caused me and Danny by being careless in that ring? It’s not worth it. We invested so much into that company all for them to burn it down.”

Rain: “Careless? This is my passion, do you understand that? I’ve been wrestling since I was a child. It’s all I’ve ever known, from wrestling with my brothers and cousins in the basement all the way to making my way to the Indies. I can’t let this go. It’s killing me inside. I will always care about you and Danny but it’s my time, I need to save my creation.”

She sighs and backs away gripping her forehead. Rain stands up and goes to drape an arm on her shoulder, planting a kiss on her cheek.

Rain: “Why are you doing this to me? All we ever wanted to do as kids was wrestle and now you’re going soft on me. Wrestling needs us. We made wrestling entertaining. Without us, it’s not worth watching. We both saw companies burn to the ground right after we left. Wrestling needs our presence. We need to save it before it’s too late.”

Fury: “These people are not worth saving, Eric. These are the same people that when you got hurt did not bother to make a phone call to ask how you’re doing. These are the same people that when you retired did not even mention you on their programming. Why do you keep giving these imbeciles so many opportunities? They don’t deserve it. They deserve to burn in hell.”

He groans and walks back to the table to grab his keys.

Fury: “Where you going?”

Rain: “I have a headache. Need time to think about this. I never thought living out a dream would turn into this.”

He grabs his cup hot chocolate and takes it with him out there. He speeds out the parking lot as Fury tries desperately to catch up to him all to be too late.

–––––––––––––

15 Minutes Later…

Rain promptly enters the Herrera Training School, shaking hands with students and staff upon entry. He then heads over to his office, hanging his belongs on the nearby rack. He drops onto his chair and groans loudly. He checks his cell phone as the door creaks open. Sean Philbrick walks in with a confused look on his face.

Sean: “Is everything okay?”

Rain: “I wish. I received a letter from Jordan asking me to sign with SCW. He heard of my match with Dreamer and said I still got it. I just have a hard time convincing Fury of that.”

There is a brief silence as Sean paces back and forth to think about it.

Sean: “Hmm, that is quite the conundrum. I don’t understand what the big deal is. You’ve shown you can do it time and time again. I wish she would stop treating you like a baby.”

Rain: “Tell me about it. She acts like if I’m being sentenced to death rather than living out my dream. It’s hard to replace it after doing it for so long.”

He nods and then turns to face him as he arches an eyebrow.

Sean: “But why SCW of all places? I thought they were dead.”

Rain: “Because I feel like I have unfinished business to take care of. I don’t trust him with MY creation. I gave HCW to Ron and Jordan all for them to burn it down, just like Hendrickson. Havoc needs to return, I’m tired of watching my baby burn to the ground. We need to protect our investment and you guys are a part of it.”

Sean: “Does she know this?”

There is a long silence as Sean does a face-palm motion.

Sean: “This is not the time for mind games. We agreed to the brand weeks ago all for you to hide it from her. I cannot be your shrink every single time without proper help, Eric. I will always be there to help you because I care about you, but it hurts to hide stuff from her.”

Rain: “She will know in due time. Once she sees what I have in mind for my debut, she will be ready to follow me soon after. For now, I need help getting the crew together. I put in a clause that if I return, I get to bring over my baby that never got a chance to finish. We will show those imbeciles what a real federation looks like before they robbed us.”

He reaches into the top drawer of his desk and takes out a manila folder with a couple applications in there. He slides them forward, all with SCW insignias written in blood text.

Rain: “This is gonna be a group effort. Wrestling’s most successful family will not die!!!”

They both review the terms of each contract and shake hands. They then exit the room to leave us focused on the dragon insignia that lays in the top right that says “Sponsored by the Herrera Training School.”

–––––––––––––

Monday Night…

Fade into a park where we see Rain seated on the bench looking out into the pond. He tosses bread to the ducks while holding his cell phone with his shoulder. It’s late at night right now, so there’s not much people in this area at the moment, just the way he likes it. He taps his cell phone a couple of times and places it on loud speaker.

Rain: “Come on, answer!”

Voice: “Hello?”

He turns off the loud speaker and sits back comfortably.

Rain: “Hey, what’s up, man? It’s me, Eric. Long time no talk, saw your message on voicemail.”

He nods and continues feeding the ducks.

Rain: “Yeah, I did sign with them for a bit. Thanks for the kind words. It felt too good to pass up, even if it was against an old rival. I was nervous about that match because I felt like I was backing down on my promise to you.”

There is a long pause as you could hear the voice on the other end getting louder, as if going on a rant. Rain closes his eyes and releases a deep sigh.

Rain: “You don’t know how much that means to me. Thank you. Just like you, I am a man of my word and it hurts to have to step back in there knowing it was a perfect ending.”

There is a pause once more as he waits to a reply. He then laughs and nods.

Rain: “Yeah, that would be sweet, man. I hope you’re able to pull it off, just like old times. Take it easy, man. Hope things get better. Being a dad changed how I look at everything so now it feels like I’m wrestling for more than just gold you know?”

He nods and rises to a vertical base.

Rain: “Likewise, miss the hell out of you, bro. Take care.”

He turns off his phone then looks up at the moon with a smirk on his face.

Rain: “No one controls my destiny but me. Thank you, brother.”

He nods and walks away as we zoom in on the caller ID of his phone which states “JA- The Chosen One.” Fade to black.

–––––––––––––

Present – Sunday Night…

Fade into the lobby of the Herrera Training School where our subject is standing in front of the floor to ceiling length windows watching the pedestrians and dozens of cars that litter the busy streets of the Windy City. He’s wearing his trademark red and black trenchcoat with the dragon yin yang logo of the school. He releases a deep sigh and ducks his head slightly.

Rain: “It’s been near a calendar year since I last stepped foot in a wrestling ring. Somehow, it doesn’t feel that long. Time seems to fly faster than these streets do.”

He turns around to reveal he’s dressed in his ring attire and there’s plenty of perspiration shown on his body. The camera pans around to show workout equipment of all shapes and sizes as well as a freshly painted SCW Havoc logo in the middle of the ring in the lobby. He extends a hand towards it and nods.

Rain: “Idle hands belong to the devil. Just because I was gone doesn’t mean I didn’t have a reason for joining here. I’ve been running this training school for 8 years giving opportunities to low income families and outcasts of society, all people that were treated like garbage. Now, this building will house an actual ring with an adjacent arena portion to be revealed soon. I always dreamed of giving back to the community and this is my way of doing it. I’m sick and tired of seeing this business treated like garbage. I trusted Ron, Jordan, Rage, and Lance to run my babies all for them to turn into dust. No more Mr. Nice Guy. I’m done trusting other people. It’s time I come back and show people what wrestling is REALLY about.”

He nods as he takes out gold name plate that once read HCW chairman. He thrusts it into the camera and scoffs.

Rain: “I was once naïve enough to believe that there were good people on this earth. But every person I have ever trusted has ended up betraying me. The only ones that had my back were my family and Brandy, who is like a daughter to me. Where were you when I got hurt? Where were you when I retired? Oh that’s right, you guys all forgot about me and decided to run this business into the ground. From Rage Sadler having my students embarrassed on live television to Mr. Hendrickson closing down the federation and firing my family from their contracts. HCW was my heart and soul, my way of showing the people what true wrestling is. Yet they decided to change the name on the first day, ruining eight years of blood, sweat, and tears that I invested into that brand. No more. I’m here to make sure that Punisher’s first match is his last.”

He spits at the floor and tosses the name plate at the nearby wall.

Rain: “I could care less who you are or where you’re from. I’m out for revenge, regardless of whether it’s my family in the ring or someone else. I came into this world alone and will walk out of it alone. My biggest mistake was being gullible enough to believe that others mattered. Every fed I have bled for has gone down in flames. I aim to do the reverse to this one; I aim to be the one causing the flames. You will rue the day you ever begged me to come out of retirement. I don’t give a shit about championships, about respect, or about this company. All I care about is unleashing the pain you all placed on me. The Society of Destruction has reunited to open the eyes of all these sheep. This is not wrestling. If anything, this is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. You have not seen wrestling until Havoc hits the air. You have not seen wrestling until I paralyze Punisher on my first night as an employee. And to think, you ALL were responsible for this casualty.”

He snickers and shakes his head from side to side.

Rain: “Don’t even bother showing up, Punisher. It doesn’t matter to me about your size or your cheesy bio information. I’ve seen thousands of people like you walk into this ring and regurgitate the same old rhetoric of how they are the incredible hulk and that they are gonna pulverize the shrimp, all the Mexican jokes, etc etc. You name it, I’ve lived it. I was traveling the world wrestling while you were going through puberty. You’re an insect to me, someone that I can easily swat away, someone who’s dream I can kill in one fell swoop. I don’t care if you’re offended by what I have to say. Do something about it. Give me a reason to care. Otherwise, you’re just another green rookie who’s become part of the Drowning Current. There’s no one here to rescue you. No one here to warn you of when it’s coming. Enjoy what’s left of your career.”

-|Part I Twists and Turns|-

It's Friday evening around 9:00pm as we see Priest laying down on his bed up in his room. Even though a professional is expected to live life in shambles, Priest's room is spotless. There isn't an ounce of dirt or dust anywhere in the room and everything is in order. Priest is still laying up on top of his bed fully clothed in his black docker boots, black leather pants, and a sleeveless shirt. In the corner of his room on a table lays a 45 calibur 380 pistol with a box of ammo next to it. Looking around, Priest lays down and gets his first bit of sleep he had in the past 3 days. Life on the road takes its toll on you but it's also a life that is rewarding once you are recognized as a living legend.

The evening moon light pours in through the window above his bed, flooding the room with a purplish glow. The wind blows hard outside as the branches of dead trees whistles an eerie sound. Slowly the camera moves closer to Priest getting a shot of his face. Apparantly he is dreaming about something, and from the looks of his facial expression, something pretty horrible. A brief second later, Priest's facial expression becomes very distrought as sweat starts to bead off his forehead profusely. Suddenly, Priest pops up in his bed as if someone had waken him up. Breathing heavily, Priest reaches over and grabs a bottle of pain killers from the inside of his night stand. Popping a few pills into his mouth, Priest slowly lays back down and shuts his eyes trying to shake off what he just dreamed about. Getting up again, Priest hears a knock at the door. Shaking off the sleepiness from his eyes, he makes his way out of his room and down a long flight of stairs. As he comes down, he can see his brother Kronik watching television flicking through the channels. Priest says nothing and walks past him and into the kitchen. Walking over to the fridge, he looks inside and grabs a beer. Opening it, he makes his way back into the living room. Before Priest can say something, Kronik flicks on the news.

Kronik: Hey bro, check this shit out!

Priest walks over to the television and on the screen he sees a news reporter standing in front of a liquor store in Los Angeles. The liquor store is surrounded with police barricades and taped off with police tape.
Reporter: Late last night this was the scene of a violent gang war or so it's meant to look like like one. Several men were shot at point blank range and there are no leads on a possible suspect as of right now. Local police are unable to answer any questions as they too are baffled by this, but sources say this was either an act of revenge or a deal gone bad. ...

Kronik flicks off the television and something inside Priest starts to churn inside.

Priest: You alright man? You don't look so good.

At this point, Priest goes into a trance as all kinds of thoughts start flooding his mind as well as his soul. Kronik continues to talk but to Priest his words are muffled. Slowly making his way back up the stairs, he goes into the bathroom. Standing in front of the mirror, Priest takes a long hard look at himself. Leaning down over the sink, he turns the water on. He feels like he's going to throw up but he doesn't. Looking into the mirror, a slow sadistic smile creeps over his face as Priest realized what he had just done earlier. A normal man would've been scared shitless over this, but Priest felt like this was just part of his normal routine. Shutting his eyes, a flash back pules through his mind of when his first wife was murdered 15 years ago. Then another flash back of what occurred earlier on the night before. As Priest looks down into the sink, Priest begins to talking himself.

Priest: Once you feel emptyness in your mind, it is your soul that Priest will take. Lives come and lives go. Pain lives as well as fear, but the true pain that cause the fear that you feel inside is somethign that only Priest shall know.

He stops in the middle of what he is saying because at this moment his body begins to shake so much he has to stop. After a brief moment, he countinues on.

Priest: As you draw your final breath, it shall the devil himself they see, Priest. Embrace pain. Embrace the darkness for through Priest there shall be light. Once you look into the eyes of darkness, you body will start the shake. Your hands will start to quiver. Your skin will turn pale. When that happens, you shall know true fear.

Raising his head from the sink, Priest has a very maniacal and disturbing smile across his face. No longer recognizing the man he usually is, he begins to laugh sadistically as he looks at himself in the mirror. Suddenly Priest slams his head forward into the mirror causing to completely shatter. As blood runs down his forehead, Priest continues to look into the mirror and just laughs as if some weird incarnation has taken place.

Kronik: What the fuck are you doing man?

Turning towards Kronik, Priest snaps out of the trance he was in. Looking at the cracked mirror, everything has come back to focus.

Priest: What the hell just happened?

Kronik: I don't know man. Are you on drugs or something?

Paying no attention to his brother, Priest realizes what had just happened and smiles knowing that this is the beginning of a new era....

The era of a legend...

The era known as Priest.

Part 2 Promo

Standing in an empty arena, Priest is leaning across the ropes as a maniacal smile creeps on his face. For months Priest has fought to gain the respect of his fellow SCW brothers but one black cloud still hangs over him. Looking into the camera, Priest cracks his neck before he speaks.

Priest: You know, for a long time I thought I was missing something. After all, I'd beaten the very best this sport has to offer, yet time after time I was always screwed out of something that should be rightfully mine. Take Damon Cross for example. I was poised to beat his ass and become the first Windy City Champion, but what happened? The promotion shut down before it could happen. And where did that leave me? It left me without my rigthful tile against a man who still thinks he's the best in the company.

Pausing for a moment, Priest walks to the middle of the ring before continuing.

Priest: If Damon Cross is the best in this buisness, then I'd might as well retire early because Damon Cross is a joke. He thinks he's beaten the best in the wrestling business? Hell the people he's beaten are nowhere near the talent I've beaten in my entire career. But you see, that's what's wrong with this business today. People think because they knock off a bunch of nobody's and win some shiny belt it makes them special. But the fact is they are just as good as someone just starting out in this business. I've been in this business for a very long time, and the one thing I've learned is that it's not the amount of wins that matter, it's the kind of impact you make that will last a lifetime.

In just a few days the SCW shall open its doors again and who do they pit me against? Cam DeWitt. Are you fucking kidding me? The last time I faced him he got a lucky break and now he thinks he's some kind of tough guy. Well I've got some news for you son, YOU AIN'T SHIT! I know you're going to flap your gums about you beat me last time but let's face it, it's pointless. I've already proven that I'm a force to be reckoned with and the fact that you have to face me is your own death wish.

You say you've made deals with the devil to get things that you've wanted? I've sold my soul to the devil to be the best. You say you've made blood sacrifices to your gods to prove that you were worthy of being a wrestler? I've sacrificed my whole life be the best in this industry. I've ended more careers than I can count. And you won't be any different. So you talk trash and say what you have to say. Because at the end of the day you will be just another victim. See you at Overdrive kid.

Laughing sadistically, Priest steps out of view as the scene fades to black.

The scene opens in the basement gym of the Tendonin mansion. There is a repetitive sounds, as a large man is seen pressing on a bench. After a moment, he sets the bar back onto the hooks and sat up. Lucius stood up, reaching for a bottled beverage. After downing half of it, he turned to the camera.

“Sometimes, the politics of the wrestling business are just too much for some people,” Lucius said, with a nod at something on the wall. The camera turned, showing two belts. The first was an old version, known as the SCW North American Championship, while the second was the new version, called the Alternative Championship. “And sometimes, people don’t realize how strong they really are. A while back, Jordan decided he just didn’t have the drive to run the SCW anymore, and the doors were closed.”

Lucius begins walking toward the stairs leading into the house proper, and the camera follows. He grabs the two belts, carrying them in his hands as he ascends to the first floor and the scene fades. When it resumes, Lucius has showered and redressed. Sitting behind his desk on the second floor, the big man points to the two belts in front of him.

“My opponent, Jesse Owusu, was the first man in SCW to hold the North American Championship. He defeated Odom a while back to become the first champion. In his first defense, I relieved him of it in a tough battle,” Lucius paused to cover up the NA title, as it was defunct. “Now, with the merger between SCW and FTWO, there were many changes. One of them included the renaming of the second level championship.” Lucius picked up the Alternative Championship, so the camera could see it better.

“That would be this, the SCW Alternative Championship. Before our brief close, I was set to defend it. That didn’t work out. Now, I have a nontitle match with Owusu coming very soon,” Lucius set the belt down on the surface of the desk and sighed. He had a bottled beverage sitting on the desk, which he took a swig of. “The last time we faced off, it was not what I expected. I didn’t think you would bring it as hard as you did, but I’ll be damned if that match didn’t leave me with a certain level of respect for you.

“Now, with SCW reopening its doors, we go at it again. This time, it’s a nontitle match, to be sure, but that doesn’t mean I’m not going to put in work. I said that this belt deserved a Champion who would respect it, honor it, and be proud to carry it until someone could take it from them. I will continue to be that person, and whether this is being defended or not, I look at each of my upcoming matches put forth as much effort as I humanly can.

“On Overdrive, it’s Tendonin/Owusu, round two. What have we both done since our last meeting? Have we in any way furthered our ring knowledge? Am I still the better man, or will you topple me this time? On December fourth, we’ll find out.” Lucius finished speaking and the scene went black.

Off Camera

Cam quietly slides out of bed, leaving a peaceful Lynn sleeping. He looks at her in the darkness, marveling at how circumstances had transpired to bring them back to this point that they were together. Lynn was usually the explosive one, but a total calm had overcome her in the last few months. She had been beyond livid when she learned Ron had sold FTWO to Jordan Post, but as quickly as she exploded about it….utter calm. She had said that it was time for them to be a tag team again, especially now that Neela was doing her own thing. It was time to be the team that could lead SCW. She had said hardly anything to Jordan, but her lawyer (and brother) had read all the paperwork inside out, and could find nothing that prevented Ron from selling the company. Ron had never filed the paperwork that had given Lynn the company, the copy they found in the company paperwork never bore Lynn’s signature. Yet peace had come into Lynn’s life, even when it came to telling Billy they were done.

Cam had thought Billy knew it was coming. Lynn had been spending less and less time at home, or at least with Billy, and more and more time with Cam. Lynn had told Cam she and Billy sat down, and she calmly told him that while the two and half years had been peaceful and wonderful that the last eight months they had been drifting further and further apart. Billy couldn’t deny it, and he had been the one to point out it was when Lynn had returned to wrestling. The thing that had brought Lynn into Billy’s life….was taking her from him. Because he had so quietly accepted the truth, Lynn held a quiet spot in her heart for the guy, something no one, especially Cam, could hold against her. But Lynn’s contentment was fueling Cam’s uneasiness, as if a fight was coming, a fight that would change everything. Not a fight with Lynn, but with the man who could add one of the final pieces to Lynn’s contentment, and that was Jordan Post.

But before Cam can even contemplate Jordan, he must face Priest. SCW was reopened after a short time, and now Cam was facing a man who thought he would have been the FTWO champion. Cam had seen what Priest said and couldn’t believe someone could be that delusional, that far off. The things that Priest had said had been echoing in Cam’s mind, and Cam knows he won’t be able to sleep until he gives Priest a piece of his own mind.

On Camera

The scene opens to show Cam sitting in a room somewhere, a fire going in the fireplace, one lone light on in the spacious room. Cam is sitting in a chair, staring into flames as if looking for answers, or perhaps he already has them.

Cam: You know Priest, before I tell you precisely what I think of you, let me say I agree with you. Damon Cross did think he was the best, but look at who he faced to get that title shot and can people really say he earned that spot? But you are wrong when you think you were the first man who was going to face Damon for the Windy City title. That honor was Brian Brewster’s but he got injured in the time between when FTWO closed and merged with SCW. It would have been Brian versus Damon when the match was booked in your first match in SCW, not you. So remind yourself that you were a second choice, not first, to beat Damon Cross. However you and Brian got something in common, actually a couple things. One, due to circumstances beyond your control, the match never happened, and two….both of you could beat Damon. The question now is who is the better man between you two, but since young Brian is still out injured so in his place….you can face me. I did train Brian, and while he is good, I am better, and beating you will be an honor.

You know Priest I would love for you to show me where you beat me, because according to my records this is the first time we’ve met. Now you faced my tag partner Lynn Brewster back in FTWO, and she beat the crap out of you, but during that time I was here in SCW, and as I said we’ve never faced each other. So it’s kind of hard for you to say that this time you will kick my ass….when you have yet to kick my ass. So I’m not going to “flap my gums” about how I beat you again, but how I’m going to beat you this time. And beat you I will, and soundly.

You’ve apparently misunderstood what I said when I said I’ve made sacrifices to my Gods. It wasn’t to prove that I was worthy to be a wrestler, but it was to make me a better wrestler, to make me the best wrestler. I was willing to offer up not just my blood, but the blood of my opponent to them so they would grant me unlimited force in that ring, and they have done that. They have made me unafraid to make people….like you bleed. As for making me another victim, you better bring more than a few powerless words to our match. I have gone an hour or more with my opponents, but I won’t need that much time with you. It will be a matter of minutes before you pinned beneath, or submitting to me, and then for the second time you will be beat by a member of Feral Destruction, this time it will be by me, and I will be sure to make you suffer like you never have before. You….will be an example to the next person to face me, and he knows who he is.

-|Pain Redefined|=

The scene opens to where Priest is standing behind a SCW banner in a secluded location. Normally Priest is getting himself mentally prepared for his match but on this day he had to let something off his chest.

Priest: Life seems to go in circles for me.

Over the course of my career, I've won matches and I've lost matches. I've won titles and lost titles. I've beaten legends and the very same legends have beaten me. The monotony of it all used to kill me. Literally. I could feel my insides tearing away and it felt like my soul was being ripped clean out. I’d been reduced to nothing more than a disposal unit: a common garbage dispenser. I was being paid to merely dispose of the trash that the higher ups put in front of me. I don’t remember names. I don’t remember faces...

But what I do remember is that all of that changed with the introduction of a certain person named Cam DeWitt.

Even from the beginning, I sensed that same lust for battle and selfish pride in his eyes. Here was a person that yearned to be tested. Here was a person that was in the wrestling business to surpass limitations and unlock true human potential. The entire scenario struck me as some form of warped yin and yang equation; I was black to Cam’s white. The notion of finally pitting myself against someone that was in this for more than the money or fame gave me a hard on too. There’s always been something intensely satisfying about two samurai-like warriors battling it out to the death and I knew that while I’d always respect Cam, our relationship would forever be entwined with bloodshed and sacrifice. That was the way I wanted it. That was the way he wanted it

That was the way it was meant to be.

People don’t seem to realise that we don’t particularly have a say in the matter of whether or not we’re going to go at it. Fate just seems to conveniently intervene and pair us off for the hell of it. I imagine that the powers that govern this planet are looking down from the Heavens with enjoyment when they see us going at it. They know that we’re going to bring it each and every time we collide. They know that they’re in for fireworks...

But the end result will always be the same

As much as our storied careers has lived up to the hype and shown the world that two of the greatest superstars in the wrestling business are willing to do whatever it takes to succeed,, a part of the intrigue surrounding this matcdh up has always centered around one key question: will Cam DeWitt finally be able to do what no other superstar has been able to do? Well, folks, they say every dog has its day and Cam, sure proved that at his last match. However, since then...[/

Normal service has been resumed.

Priest is back to where he needs to be. The person that every man, woman, and child fears. Do I have Cam to thank for this? Certainly not. I got tired of makiing everyone else look good. Now it's time to prove that without Priest that the SCW will be nothing but the recently defunct MCW. But once again we face off in battle. Will the former king be able to defy the odds yet again? Will lightning strike twice? Will Cam finally prove that he is a worthy champion since the beginning of his career?[/

Long story short... No fucking way.

This is the real world, Cam. This isn’t some half baked fantasy land that sees your cheap, two dimensional, homoerotic humanitarian act come out on top. It’s time for yet another dose of reality and I’m ready to provide it by the bucket load.

Faces come. Faces go. The calendar date continues to chop and change with every passing day, but the song remains the same. This script is unchanged. There are some things in life that you simply have to get used to; famine in Africa, Canadian stupidity and French military incompetence. However, above all of these things, one thing stands out more in life than the rest as the very personification of a constant...

Priest always wins in the end. That's just the way it is.
