NOTE!!! We will be going to a different RP style where each match will get its own thread. So please post in the appropriate thread for your match! OVERDRIVE 10 Live April 9th From the Air Canada Centre, Toronto, Ontario RP DEADLINE Tuesday April 2nd 11:59pm Central time Tag Tournament Semi-Finals Tendonin Xchange Versus Society of Destruction (Priest & Kronik) The SCW Tag tournament continues and we have entered the semifinals. One of these teams will be in the finals for the tag titles, and both are strong competitors. Both sides of the ring will have family connections, with Tendonin Xchange having the husband/wife connection while SOD will feature the brothers Priest and Kronik. However throw in the element that at the next pay per view Priest will be facing Jessica for her Alternative title, and it makes this match that more explosive. Will Tendonin Xchange win, advancing towards adding another title to the family, or will SOD win, showing why you can’t take any combination lightly? RP Deadline April 2nd at 11:59pm Central Time Segments always welcomed |

Part One After the Ladder Match at Spring Meltdown… Jessica went in and out of consciousness several times during the trip to Jessica’s dressing room backstage. On this night, she had made war upon Britanie Simone, and she had won, as the proof pressed between her and her husband’s bodies showed. The battle had ended when Jessica knocked Simone off the ladder and through a table, but the final shots were fired when Ashley ran to the ring. That last shove to Simone had used the last of Jessica’s energy. Or so she thought. She had an ounce left in the tank, and she used it to pull herself up just a bit further and take down her belt. The war was over and Simone was just a name in the record books for Jessica. After a series that lasted nearly a year, Jessica had defeated Simone yet again, going undefeated against the French woman. That war was over, and a new one was raging already. Lucius knew Jessica needed medical attention. She had lost a lot of blood. He kicked her room door open just as medics came around the far corner, carrying supplies. LT laid his unconscious wife on a table as the medics entered the room. Ashley picked up the belt when it slid to the floor. Jessica’s blood was on it, a crimson liquid, and drying in places. After several moments, the medics told everyone that they were done. Jessica needed rest and would be fine. The blood loss would right itself in a few days, and her biggest problem was the exhaustion. Not even her broken ribs were a big deal. Ashley watched as Lucius carried Jessica to the bed that Jessica always had in her rooms. Her baby sister was alright, and still champion. That is what was important to her sister. The belt. Ashley sighed as she helped her brother in law change Jessica into clean clothes. “I told her not to do a ladder match,” Ashley said. Lucius nodded. “Me too, but you know how she likes her ladders,” Lucius replied, removing Jessica’s top. “Think we should clean her up, too?” “Won’t hurt, I suppose,” Ashley replied. Lucius lifted and carried Jessica to the shower room. After they cleaned and dressed her, Lucius carried her back to the bed. Ashley pulled the cover back, tucking her sister in, just as she had been doing since they were children. Ashley then turned to Lucius, who had stood watching. “She needs to slow down, Lucius,” the woman who looked so much like his wife said. “I know. I’m hoping she takes my point and follows suit,” Lucius said. Ashley tilted her head, a look on her face that LT couldn’t read immediately. “A Tendonin, possibly retiring?” Ashley said, a smile playing on her face now. Lucius nodded. “It’s getting near that time, Ash. I’m 31 years old and my body isn’t the same as when I was 18 and could go out night after night and get slammed around,” Lucius explained. “I know what you mean, Lucius,” Ashley said as she and Lucius went back to the others. “While Jessica there won’t admit it, I, for one, can tell I can’t move the way I used to.” “A lot of the fans don’t realize how much this business can take out of you,” AJ said as the two joined her and Candice. AJ was the English Dragon. Hailing from London, she was a senior member of the Order of the Dragon. Each member of the Order had been chosen because they were the best of the best in what they did. Ashley was obviously the group’s ace in mat wrestling. Candice Karicia Kingston was the queen of MMA, as far as the Dragons were concerned. With extensive backgrounds in Judo, Karate, Krav Maga, Jiu-jitsu, and a host of other disciplines, she was easily the best fighter in the group. Adatu Urakih was best described as simply aggression. The little Asian woman, though the smallest of the Dragons, was not to be set aside by the popularity of the others. But the English Dragon, Amy Jasmine Ames…she was the absolute best when it came to mind games. Though very talented in the ring as well, Amy liked the game of getting into the opponents head, psyching them out. “Well damn, you know it’s true when Amy agrees,” Lucius said with a laugh, sinking into a comfortable chair. The four of them spoke for some time. Old matches, past adventures, thoughts on the pay per view thus far, etc. They would leave, soon, taking their queen back to Cleveland. |

-|The Calming Before The Storm|- Post Spring Madness As I sat in my locker room after I disposed of Stefanos Los Rios. I sat there with a contented look on my face as my brother Kronik looked on strangely. I ignored it and continued to vask in my dominance after Spring Meltdown had ended. In the distance, A television was on as I was watching the carnage that happened on that fateful night. Still looking at me with the same look, Kronik spoke to me as I sat in silence. "You alright bro?" Kronik asked as he began gathering our gear. Not acknowledging him, I continued to watch the ass kicking I gave Stefanos after our match. Cracking my neck, I began to unwrap my hands as I finally spoke. "I couldn't be better, bro." I said as Kronik continued to watch me. Nodding his head, Kronik seemed pleased with the comment made. "That's good to hear, big man. But even though you got what you wanted, we still got a tag match next week. You got to have a clear head if we're going to make an impact." Looking at him, I smirked as I continued to unwrap my hands. "I got it under control, Kronik. We've been on a huge roll ever since the SOD formed and even though Marvin and Fury came up a little short, they still looked strong. I know that the Tendonin Exchange are going into this thinking it will be a walk in the park. But if they think we're losing this match, they've got another thing coming." "I have no doubt, bro. I've got faith in you." Looking at Kronik, his mind seemed to be elsewhere. For the last few weeks, he's had his suspicions about Fury and the wedge was starting to take its toll on the groups unity. "What's on your mind man?" "I'm fine, bro." "Something is bothering you. It's better if you let it out." "Alright man. I'm worried about Fury. She's been acting really strange as of late and it's starting to worry me. With the NWO, they have a strong front and if one of us shows weakness, they're going to exploit it." I knew where this was going, but rather than play into it, I decided to use it to motivate Kronik. "I know what's going on and trust me, bro. I'll deal with it when the time is right. Right now, I need you to stay focused so we can advance in this tournament. We need to win this so we can be one step closer to the gold." Nodding his head, Kronik got the rest of his stuff together as I finished unwrapping my hands. "I know man, and I'm with you. "That's what I'm talking about. Now let's get out of here, I'm starving." As I finished getting dressed, my mind was very clear. I haven't felt this way in a long time and it feels good. For the first time I know what I want and that's one more shot at glory. Ever since my brother Kronik has signed with the SCW, he's revived my career and that can only spell trouble for anyone that stands in our way. My mind is clear. My body is in shape. My soul is reborn. Most of all, the fire in my eyes is clean. Now all that's left is claim what is rightfully ours. Overdrive will be the beginning of the road to immortality. ___________________________________ At Spring Madness, I did exactly what I said I would do. i became the number one contender to Jessica Tendonin's Alternative Championship. The last time she faced me, it was in a tag team match along side her husband, Lucious Tendonin. Now I'll admit that going into that match, I was unfocused and it cost me and my brother Kronik the win. This time however, me and my brother are hungry. I am not going to say that this will be a walk in the park because I'd be lying if I did. It will be a great task for us to overcome, but I know we can do it. I know because of the simple that Jessica is not a hundred percent after her ladder match at Spring Madness. I may have been in a war but I didn't have go through 40 minutes of hell. Lucious on the other hand is on his last leg. He's using his own wife as a springboard to revitalize his withering career. Us? Me and Kronik have unity. We have more drive and more determination. Quitting is not in our vocabulary. We will fight until we are the only ones left standing. Lucious. Jessica. You got lucky last time, plain and simple. I made one mistake and you took advantage of it. But trust me it won't happen again. If you watched our match against The Walking Dead, you know you're in for a hell of a fight. If you think we're going to let you advance in this tournament, you've got another thing coming. Now I'll admit that both of you have had outstanding careers thus far in the SCW. But against two monsters your careers are in grave jeopardy. So Bring everything you have at Overdrive because when it's said and done, me and Kronik will be one step closer to the gold. Our time is now and after we dispose of you our reign of dominance will continue. May god have mercy on your souls. |

Part Two Cruising on Chagrin… A warm Saturday morning had dawned promisingly on this day. Several children were outside playing riding bicycles, etc. Men were tending to their lawn (the snow had melted and the grass was dry) while their wives were busy with tasks in the house. The area that encompassed Cleveland, Ohio was always prone to drastic weather changes. On Monday, in the dead of winter, it may be 50 Degrees Fahrenheit, but by Tuesday evening, the streets would be slick with ice. Today, however, the roads were clear. No snow, no ice, no rain. As such, a certain Paraguayan chose to ride around her home town of Shaker Heights. Jessica had stopped at the high school, watching as the new generation of wrestler kicked it off. It brought a smile to her face, seeing the younger generation have the same drive that her and her sister had had when they walked the halls of this building twelve years prior. She was in her car, now, cruising around. Coming down Chagrin where it turned into Kinsman as she reentered Cleveland, Jessica took a left onto East 147th Street. Reaching Bartlett, she almost kept going, but she spotted a familiar person. Jessica rolled her window down and called out. “Yo! T-Streets!” She said, getting his attention. T-Streets, a nickname, was a tall black man, standing six foot three, and he had neatly braided hair, in the tight ‘diamondbacks’ style. His neatly trimmed facial hair maid him quite attractive, Jessica admitted, having rarely seen him as such. Wearing a pair of new white, black, and grey Jordan SC-1 shoes, black/grey True Religion jeans, a black wife beater top under a black and grey plaid button up shirt with short sleeves, Jessica admitted he definitely looked nice. He was standing next to a Dodge Charger, a 2012 she guessed, talking to someone else. He looked up when he heard his name and smiled at Jessica. He nodded at her, telling her to wait a moment. A small plastic package was trades for a couple of bills and the other guy walked away, stuffing the package in his pocket, looking around. T-Streets then turned and began walking towards Jessica’s Challenger. She put the car in Park and climbed out. “I’ll be damned!” He said as they hugged each other. “This bitch said she was NEVER coming back to the hood, but here you are,” “I said no such thing, T. I just said I wasn’t coming back to THAT part of the hood,” Jessica replied. T-Streets laughed now, remembering the incident. “Hey, don’t be laughing, dammit. Them niggas bricked my shit.” Jessica said, though she was smiling also. The man looked at the Challenger, taking in the detail. “Yeah, that was fucked up. Leave it to niggas in the hood to try and fuck some shit up for those of us who out here doing real shit.” T-Streets said, nodding. Jessica raised an eyebrow. “Us? Didn’t I just see you…” “Nah, look here Mrs. Tendonin. I’m a pusher, not a puller, ya feel me?” “Still a fucked up line of work.” “Shit…niggas gotta get paid somehow. I provide a service to these motherfuckers, and they provide me with money for my car payments.” T-Streets pointed at his car. “That’s my baby…” Jessica shook her head, amused. “I know how that feels,” She replied, tapping the Challenger. “This beast right here…I roll it ninety percent of the time.” “I don’t blame you. I hear it’s badass out there on the strip, eh? You making them niggas cry cause they got beat by a girl?” “They’re used to it by now, and if not, too fucking bad.” Jessica turned her head as a police cruiser rolled up on them. After a few seconds, the officer got out. He was an older, overweight, balding, white man with beady little eyes that for some reason, irritated the fuck out of Jessica. He came sidling toward them, looking at both of them. “What are you two doing here?” The cop asked, standing a bit away from them and looking at both cars. T-Streets held a poker face while he spoke. “As a matter of fact, I’m glad you’re here, officer, sir. I’m having a problem.” He said, looking the cop in the face. The officer tilted his head upward, suspicious. “And what seems to be the problem?” He asked, looking at Jessica, then back at T-Streets. “The problem is, bitches these day, you feel me? Look, I broke up with my girl last night, so I’m tryna hook some shit up to get me some pussy later on, you know what I’m saying? I’m tryna walk the dog, get some buns, skins, pie, some pootang, know what I’m saying?” The officer began to redden and looked irritated. “But this bitch right here, nigga? This bitch right here? This bitch right here? She’s fucking crazy, bruh! Don’t get me wrong, a nigga got money, but this bitch wants six hundred dollars…for a blowjob! Can you believe this shit? I’m like damn! Do I get some finger in the ass action with that? You what she told me? This whore says no, and that the 600 is for her to suck the tip of my dick! What the fuck kinda shit is that?!” “Sir, do you find this amusing?” The cop asked. “No, what I find amusing, is that yo fat ass is right here fucking with me because I’m black, while on the next corner, it’s a white guy and his Puerto Rican niggas pushing cocaine like it’s candy on Halloween.” T-Streets was losing his grip on his straight face, now. “I’ll ask you again, sir. Do you-” Before the cop could finish talking, his radio began buzzing. Radio: Car 432, we have a report of illegal drug activity in your area, please respond. Officer: This is Car 342, come back. The exchange went on for a moment longer. Afterwards, he looked at T-streets and scowled, but didn’t speak. After he left, and turned the corner in the direction T-Streets had indicated, Jessica began laughing. “One day, Terel. One day. Somebody is gonna fuck you up for fucking with them like that.” Jessica said, poking him in the ribs. He laughed and poked her in the ribs also. She groaned in pain. “Fuuuck!” Jessica groaned, bending over a bit in pain. Terel then noted the taping. “Dammit, Terel. I broke my fucking ribs a few weeks ago, and you just poke me like it ain’t shit?” “Damn, I didn’t know. You alright?” Terel says, lifting Jessica’s shirt and seeing how bandaged her ribs were. He judged she’d broken at least two or three. Jessica nods and stands up straight again. “I’ll be fine in a week or so,” She said, leaning against the Challenger, looking up at Terel. “You need to find a new line of work, Terel.” He nodded. “I feel you. Gotta figure it out, though.” “You’re young, you have a lot of talent and skills. Why the hell are you wasting all of that by standing out here on the block slinging weed?” “That’s a good question, Jess,” Terel nodded, looking down at the street. “You gotta get out of this, Terel,” Jessica said, lifting his chin and looking him in the eyes. “I’m serious. I have an idea. I’ll make some phone calls tomorrow, and get back to you. You gotta put this shit behind you, though.” Jessica was known for her pep talks. When Ashley needed one, Jessica was there. When the Dragons were heading into battle, it was Jessica who spoke to rouse them. She and Terel spoke for a while longer before parting. Jessica decided to do a bit of shopping while on her way back to the west-side. She left Terel with a lot to think about. |

-|The Death Blow|- The scene opens as Priest stands behind an SCW banner. With a smile on his face, Priest seems rather casual even though he has a big tag team match on Overdrive. Even though Kronik has yet to have his say, Priest knows his brother is the silent type so he will do all the talking for the team. Looking at the SCW banner, Priest puts his hand on it as begins his promo. The say fear is a learned human trait. Fear is something that can consume you until the breaking point. The point to where you lose your sanity. Me? I don't know fear for I fear no one. A lot of people may say that those who have fear are the real cowards. But who gives a fuck what they think. My name is Priest and I am the great wrestling superstar to ever grace a wrestlling ring. Call me cocky. Call my arrogant. It doesn't matter because at the end of the day, I'll always be better than everyone else around me. Yes I know a lot of people are doubting my credibilty. But how many legends have they fought? How many icons have they ended? How many titles have they won in their careers? No clue? Because the fact is that not one person in the SCW has the drive and determination that I have. I'm one of the most decorated superstars that this industry has ever produced and if you don't believe me all you have to do is look at my track record. Multi time world heavyweight champion. Legend after legend defeated. Match after match redefined. My whole career I was told I was never going to make it. Everyone thought I would die slowly after I lost my first professional match. But look at me now. I have defied the odds and now I am living the life I always knew I could. Now I have been reborn in the SCW and that can only mean one thing. Trouble. And with my brother Kronik in the SCW, the fate of the company lies solely on our shoulders. We proved what we could do when we defeated the Walking Dead to get to the semi finals of this tag team tournament. Now we face the Tendonin Exchange. A duo who we have locked horns with already. I'll admit they got lucky in our first outing but I assure you this time will be different. We're hungry. We're focused. And we nothing to lose. Fear Lucious? Fear Jessica? Fuck that noise. FEAR US! You two are standing in the way of something we want. We want the SCW tag team straps and we will destroy anyone who steps into our paths. We're not role models. We're not a champion for the people. All we care about is being the best by any means necessary. We dont' answer to anyone but ourselves, and for anyone to think differently is bullshit. We are the future of the SCW and that is reality. For too long, the SCW has been overrun with people who think they are champions when they are nothing more than second rate wrestlers who have no talent. But that will change come Overdrive. Because when the Tendonin Exchange faces off against the Brothers of Destruction, they will know who true pain is. It's time take back the yard and it starts by disposing of Lucious and Jessica Tendonin. So you enjoy your fifteen minutes of fame guys. Because at Overdrive your fantasy world ends. See you two at Overdrive. |

Part Three Tendonin Xchange Shoots on Society of Destruction The scene starts with the front of the mansion known as Tendonin Manner. The massive home of Jessica and Lucius. Then, it fades. Next, the view comes back, showing the husband and wife standing in a room where the walls are decorated with awards, pictures, belts, and trophies. The camera pans the room for a moment before returning to LT and Jessica. Lucius spoke first. Lucius: In this business, you come across lots of different kinds of people. You come across people who sometimes leave an impression on you. People make you remember them, regardless of the outcome of your encounter. Such a person is…Priest. In our first battle, you and I went one on one. I was a bit cocky, and distracted. I was distracted and irritated that on the match description, I was just ‘SCW Superstar, Lucius Tendonin!’ I was upset because it failed to mention that I was the SCW Alternative Champion. In the back of my mind, I let that thought control me. I let it fuel me, and I told myself I would teach you a lesson and make people remember who I was, make them say ‘Champion’ when they said my name. Look where that got me. I was left with my second loss here in SCW. Oh, I was distracted, but also cocky. That cockiness and distraction was what cost me the match, but not the only thing. As I said before our last encounter, Priest. You humbled me. You showed me that I am not as great as I think I am. You came in from left field and completely sent me down a peg or two. Lucius stopped talking for a moment, pointing at a TV screen. The camera turned as Lucius pressed play on a remote. The video showed Priest vs. Lucius Tendonin going one on one, showing the highlights of the match. Lucius was shown hitting the T5 and the Tenada, his finishers. Priest was also shown hitting his finishers, and then shown with the referee raising his hand. Lucius pressed pause and the camera turned back to him and Jessica. Lucius: That match…I studied it, I devoured it, looking for my mistake. I found it, and shared it with my wife. Going into our previous match, Jessica and I had a plan, and it worked. The unity of the Tendonin Xchange is something…magical. Any of us could team with another member and it’s like clockwork. The fact that my partner is my wife only makes our in ring abilities complement each other that much more. The mistake that people make is that all they see is that we are husband and wife. This room? It’s full of examples of our ability to rise to the top. You saw them at the intro. As Tendonin’s, we adapt to survive as the situation calls for it. Divide and destroy was the mission at Apocalypse. Jessica begins speaking now, Lucius having stopped, leaving her an opening. She held up the SCW Alternative Championship. Jessica: Mission accomplished. Growing up with asthma, I wasn’t able to do much physical activities as a child. I was envious of my sister who wrestled and ran track. Then…the day came when my physician told my parents that my asthma had waned. I was elated. Jessica Wallace could join her sister on the track. My family identifies ourselves as Christians, and for years, one of the things I prayed for as a young woman was to be able to participate in physical activities with my friends and siblings more. When my Holy Father heard my prayer and answered, I promised Him I would always do my best when it came to physical activities. I would work myself hard and be not only the best, but my best. Notice I used that phrase several times now? Physical activities? I say that because I could hardly do anything as a child. Now, at thirty, I’m one of the most dominate Latina wrestlers in the world. I have striven for excellence throughout my life, and indeed my career. I go above and beyond what is ‘good enough.’ The Brothers of Destruction think they have a leg up on us because I’m not at 100 percent after my battle with Simone. For nearly three quarters of an hour, Simone and I made war upon each other. When the smoke cleared, the battlefield was littered with bodies, but standing tallest was I, Jessica motherfucking Tendonin, the SCW Alternative Champion. You say I’m not at one hundred percent, but understand something. My drive, ability, natural motivation, and determination makes me operate at a much higher level than most others. For that reason, what is one hundred percent for others is akin to fifty percent for me. So, that means even if I’m not at my maximum, I’m still likely better than others. Luck. The Tendonin Xchange has no need for luck. Tell me, did you see any of these items in the ring during our last encounter? Jessica points to a box on the floor, and the camera tilts downward to shot it. Inside, there are several strange items. A four leaf clover, a rabbit’s foot, a horseshoe, a wishbone, and the penis bone of a walrus. After a moment, the camera comes back the Jessica. Jessica: Luck is not in our arsenal. When you have skill, talent, and raw ability, luck is but a laughable option. Luck is for those who think they can do something, but feel that they need that extra little nudge. We don’t think we can beat you, Priest and Kronik. We know we can do it. They say lightning doesn’t strike twice in the same place. The Tendonin Xchange beating the Society of Destruction, again, isn’t lighting striking twice. It’s a holy storm that will leave you two laid out again. Lucius says you made an impression on him, Priest. I’m inclined to say you left one on me, as well, but a different. You know what that impression was? The next morning, my shoulder hurt like hell from nearly cutting you in half with that Spear. Here’s something, too. You say you’re the ones who should be feared in the SCW. One of your examples was…defeating…The Walking Dead. A team of good wrestlers…in singles action. Together, they’re about as good of a combination as putting reds, blues, and greens in a washing machine with a full bottle of bleach. We’re talking about a team that has won one damn match in the past year in XPW. But, even worse that winning only one match last year, they lost to…the Thailand Express. That’s the team you’re bragging about defeating. If, for some reason, you boys think we are impressed, please fix that thought from your head. The Tendonin Xchange is not impressed by defeating jobbers. What I’m personally impressed by, is how hyped up you are for this match, Priest. You said this company is headlined by second rate wrestlers who shouldn’t be champions. How does it feel, then, to lose to a second rate wrestler? Even more so, a girl. Let me hear you say it, Priest. ‘I got beaten by a girl!’ If Neela and myself are such second rate wrestlers, why am I undefeated and she’s held the world title since it was introduced? SCW. It’s Neela’s house, but the yard is mine. You can open the gate and venture inside the yard if you want, but don’t cry when the dog bites you in the ass. Again. I’ve got broken and bandage ribs. That’s what my current weakness is. Why am I saying this, when I know you’ll just exploit it? Because, even with an injury, I still will give it my all. I wouldn’t have taken this match if I didn’t think I could compete again so soon. I look forward to the stomps, kicks, and body slams that will be targeting my ribs. Both of you, bring you worst, and I’ll take it and show you exactly why I am the best. Jessica stopped talking now, looking calm, but serious as the camera zoomed out to show both of them. Lucius: We’ve spoken. Now, we wait. We wait for Overdrive, and for the chance to defeat the Society of Destruction again, and move one step closer to the SCW Tag Team Championship. One step closer to continuing to secure our legacy here in SCW. One step closer to SCW greatness. Scene fades to the SCW logo, Tendonin Xchange logo, and then to black. |
