In the darkness, a dripping sound is heard in the distance. The long corridor angles slightly downward, and the camera is placed at the lower end, at a T-Intersection. From the other end, footsteps are heard, quietly at first, but as they approached, they became louder and more deliberate. Narrator: In the final battle, the Archangel Gabriel battled with and defeated the great Dragon. At the other end of the corridor, and light is seen; a match has been struck. After a second, it is joined by a second light before the first fades. A candle was lit. The footsteps were growing closer. Narrator: Another battle with a Dragon approaches, now. More candles are lit and additional pairs of footfalls are heard; there is more than one person walking toward the camera. Narrator: Ultimate Havoc Wrestling. An American based wrestling company, which will play host to the battle between the Dragon and Nate Redman. The group was closer to the camera, now, and at the head of the group, Jessica Wallace was recognizable. The unit stopped. Jessica: Ye, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Psalms 23:4. Silence reigned for several seconds. Jessica: That verse resides in the Christian bible, and in the Book of the Dragon. It's interesting, I must say, that the religious system which sees all others as evil and false, shares such a notable verse with one such as the Book of the Dragon. The Book of the Dragon teaches many things, and I must learn them again. Let me start from the beginning… I was born in Shaker Heights, Ohio in 1983. My mother and father raised me as a Christian girl, and for a time, I liked it. Then, I began to feel a calling to something else. That was when I discovered the Old Religion of the Dragon Priestess’. I found the texts and I absorbed them, learning the old ways of the Dragons. For a time, I became more and more fierce, like a Dragon. Throughout my life, a dangerous change within me was wrought forth, and I stood unstoppable in most avenues. Jessica reached into her pocket and took out a photo. On it was a man familiar to most who knew her. Jessica: And then, this man convinced me to turn away from the Dragon Goddess. Told me I would be a better person, if I returned to my ‘savior.’ I would be protected by his Holy blood. I believed him. I took the oath, then, and was baptized for the second time in my life. Now, true Christian doctrine dictates that one only needs to be baptized once in their life. I knew this, and my ‘husband’ knew this too, and remind me, he did. But, I wanted to start over. So, I was bathed in the Holy water at Cleveland Baptist Church, in Brooklyn, Ohio. Since then, I will admit, I have been…happy. Until now… Jessica took the photo and set fire to it with the candle. She released the photo and it wafted to the floor, burning. Jessica: The Dragon Goddess called out to me again, and as the High Priestess, I could not resist. I could not live this lie anymore. In our last battle, in the prelude, Nate Redman said I was lying to myself and everyone else around me about who I was. He said I wore a façade, and that it would come crashing down. The dam has broken, and the blood of the Dragon now flows freely within my veins again. Redman was correct. I was hiding…I was lying. But now, as I stand here in this damn, dark corridor, I am no longer an imposter of a version of myself that no longer exists. I am the Omega of the Dragon Order, the Dragon Priestess, and the protector of all that is mighty in the eye of the Dragon. I stand here, in front of my sister, and our sisters. We are the Order of the Dragon, and we are sisters in the blood of the Dragon. I command the Order, as a sign of my masters faith in me. The Dragon is a…forgiving master, but she requires…a sacrifice…for past transgressions. You see, my master will let those who stray from her come back under her wing, but they must pay for their crime of swaying away. Bring him to me. Jessica turns as a struggling form is brought forward slowly. She kicked the form, which was obviously a person. Jessica: Here is my offering to the Dragon, and I find it fitting that it should be this person, for he has never accepted me as the Dragon Priestess. It’s not who you think, either. The woman who now called herself the Dragon Priestess kneeled and removed the sack from the person on the floor. In a shocking event…the person on the floor is revealed to be…Kevin…Wallace. Jessica: Hello…baby Brother. How are you this evening? Kevin Wallace: Jessica! What is this! Jessica smacked him in the face with enough force to draw blood from his lips. Jessica: You didn’t answer my question. Kevin: What the heck is your problem? Jessica frowned now. She grabbed her younger sibling by the collar and slammed him into the corridor wall, and kneeing him in the sensitive male area. He doubled over in pain, yelping. Jessica then elbowed him in the back of the head, making him fall to the stone floor. Jessica: You will watch how you speak to me, the Dragon Priestess. Kevin (grunting): Stop this…nonsense or…I’m goin- aaaa!!! Jessica had tilted her candle over her brother, letting the hot wax drip onto his face when he rolled over. Then, she began stomping away at him. The other Dragon’s joined in, and soon, the corridor was alive with the screams of Kevin Wallace as his sisters and their friends beat on him. After a moment, Jessica stopped, and so did everyone else. Jessica: My brother Kevin is scum. He has never supported me and Ashley, despite us being extremely supportive of him! When he used up his whole college fund and wanted to continue his education, what did I do? I gave him a million dollars, enough for him to continue his education for a very long time! When he no longer wanted to take public transportation, what did Ashley do? She bought him a new car, paid for insurance for two years, and paid all expenses for it, down to every ounce of gas put into it. How did this bastard repay us? How did he show his appreciation? He didn’t! He look in our faces and smiled while slapping us in the face. I have treated my family with the utmost respect, but it seems the baby of the house of Wallace no longer will be among us. Kevin, poka poka, Poshyel k chyertu, Durak neshtiasny. With that, Jessica stood Kevin up and looked down at him. Then, she reached into her pocket and removed a knife. With a brief locking of their eyes, Jessica and Kevin looked at each other before she jammed the blade into his heart. He dropped to the stone floor again, and began bleeding out. Dragons: Heil Dragasha! Jessica: Heil Dragasha! Dragons: Heil Dragasha! Jessica: My obligatory sacrifice has been made, and the Dragon Goddess will now allow me to be called Dragasha once more. Dragons: Heil Dragasha! Dragasha: Now…the time approaches fast for the second encounter of the Dragon and Nate Redman. This time, however, I will be protected and empowered by the Dragon Goddess. There will be no slights, mistakes, or sudden shifts. After Grand Slam…the Dragon Priestess will be the Supreme Champion, and there is only one thing anyone can do about it. Watch. Poka. The clip ended with the Dragons trudging forward and passing the camera, which tilted down to show the still bleeding form of Kevin Wallace, who lay on the stone floor, at death’s door. |
