Scene 1: A Changed Hailey Hailey (Narrating): People have asked recently why I decided to drop the girl next door act and become this bratty stuck up bitch I am now. They have also asked me how it all became reality, as I had been the sweetest girl in school since kindergarten. Always sharing my toys, food, or whatever with anyone that needed it. Well, let me take you back. It was my last year in college. I had been taken advantage of for the last time. Here, let me pop in this DVD, to show you what happened. As I pop in the DVD, the scene cuts in to Michigan Stadium. I was just getting ready for my final game as a cheerleader. Now at that time, I still wore glasses during games, as I didn't have contacts, like I do now. Anyways, let's listen in, as I'm getting picked on again. ”Listen here, runt. You're gonna do that stunt right or I'm gonna kick you off the team. I've had enough of you screwing things up. You're a disgraceful excuse for a captain. You should have been kicked off months ago.” Hailey (Narrating): At that point, after months of constant berating, I'd had it. I just snapped on her. Her name was Stephanie and she had been after my captaincy since it was given to me, two years ago, at that time. But the thing was, I was about to change for good and for the better. I'd been mistreated long enough on this squad and now it was time to do something. ”You can pick on someone else, Stephanie. And you can take my captain spot and shove it up your ass! Cause not only are YOU off the squad, but I quit! I've had enough of the lack of disrespect for the captain that all of you showed me over the past six months! This squad is nothing but ego, and I'm fucking sick of it! You can pick a new captain all you want, but none will be better than me! This team can go to fucking hell! I've had it!” Hailey (Narrating): And at that time, I'd head for the locker room and dress in my street clothes, removing my glasses, as I could see with out them. But not only removing them, but I just...snapped them in half. I'd had it with this nerd image and I was about to change my looks for the better too. But for now, they could all suck a rock for all I cared. I was done with this crap and wanted to move on. But I had been a cheerleader since middle school and loved it. But how was I to know that college cheerleaders outside of me, were complete egotists? They were self centered and all about themselves. Maybe it was time I started acting that way... As the scene fades, I walk out to my Mustang, and walk towards my home. It was only a few weeks before graduation and I would be happy to be out of Michigan and on to the next stage of my life, wherever that took me. But for now, I was just happy to be changing. Scene 2: New Hailey Hailey (Narrating): As the scene returns, I am at a bike shop. I had previously traded in my Mustang and was now across the street, looking at Harleys. I wanted something that would fit my looks, but I would also need a new wardrobe. As I look over the leather jackets, I find one that I aboslutely adore, and it was in my size. I then pick out my Harley and all the gear. Once I pay the cashier, he tosses me the keys to my new Harley. I put my helmet on and speed off, towards the stadium where I once was a cheerleader, as they wanted me to visit, prior to my match. I then speed out of the tunnel to the stadium, turning a doughnut on the field, as the cheerleaders look on, shocked at who this woman was on the bike. But once my helmet came off, they recognized me, even with my brown hair now and my biker gear. I then spoke. ”Well look who it is. It's the chick I told to fuck off a year ago. I see Stephanie was let back on the squad after I left. So what? I ain't no damn cheerleader anymore. I just came to visit with my old friends who were still here. But I ain't gonna change back to that blonde cheer chick just because people want me to. I'm done doing what people tell me to. This is me. A rebellious rulebreaker. And I don't really care that my Hog isn't allowed on the field. I just came to say hello. And for now, I'm outta here.” Hailey (Narrating): I then hop back on my motorcycle, putting the helmet and jacket back on. As the motor revs, I speed up and out of the stadium, flashing it the middle finger as I did. I no longer cared about that part of my life. This new Hailey was taking over and I was starting to love every second of it. I would now decide to go pack, as I had a match to get to. A few hours later, I am back on my bike, with my duffel bag packed. I was speeding off towards the SCW show and it was time for them to see the new Hailey. The scene fades, with me heading towards the arena. Scene 3: Arrival Hailey (Narrating): A few hours later, I had arrived at the arena. As I speed into the entry tunnel and my locker room, I turn my Harley off and lock it into a safety closet, as I didn't want anyone stealing my prized possession. As I unpack my things, my old friend, Brandy-Danielle Garrett, walks in, looks at me and smiles. She was clearly happy with the new me, as she felt it was time to change. She then spoke. ”Hailz! I love the new you! We need to think of a new nickname! Victorious is so cheerleader you. How bout “Hellcat” Hailey Scott? Again, I love the new you. But we do need to give you a new persona. Have you ever thought about turning heel? I mean people have treated you like garbage recently. Maybe somehow use that as a reason you changed your attitude. You were sick of it. A lot like me when I went from face to heel. I was tired of being laughed at so I changed my attitude. You're in the same boat, Hailz. Think about it.” Hailey (Narrating): I thought it over for a second. I did like the idea of a new me and a heel turn. Because as a good girl, I was getting kicked around, as she said. I nodded in approval, as I considered how to answer her. As soon as I have an answer, I speak up, with confidence. ”You're right! And I'm debuting with SCW this month. Maybe start showing my new attitude there? I could say that people kicked me around long enough and it's time for me to change and become a new girl. I like that idea. You know, there's a reason why you're one of my besties! You always have such great advice, but I expect nothing less, as you trained me. I just wish I could live up to your legacy. But no one is giving me that chance, Brandy.”” Hailey (Narrating): And with that, the scene fades off. I had my new look, but also a promo to do. As the scene finally fades, Brandy and I embrace, in a friendly hug. We'd had our differences in the past but remained BFF's. We had so much in common that it was hard for us not to be best friends. I shoot her a smile, as I set up to do my promo. There was a lot to be done, for sure. Scene 4: Agitated Hailey The scene sets in Detroit, Michigan. Our subject, Hailey Scott, has a pair of leather pants on as well as a denim short jacket and pink spaghetti strapped top. She has knee high boots on and her formally blonde hair is now brown. Since the last time anyone heard from her, she had changed a lot, and we were about to see how. As she smirks, the cameras zoom in on her tanned skin and more toned body. She was a had the Cali girl looks even though she was from Michigan. As she speaks, a tone of agitation and disdain comes from her. ”So after a year of being shoved aside like yesterday's garbage, I'm back. But you don't see me wearing some stupid cheer outfit or a pair of very nerdy glasses. I've changed a lot and in my opinion, for the better. See, I don't need some idiot fans cheering me to do well. I would be able to show the world what I can do...if given the chance. Did VOW give me that chance? Fuck no. They closed in a week. LPW was giving me that chance but then my opponent bailed after taking out my best friend, Simone. So do you think for one second, SCW, that you're gonna push me aside too? Well, I won't stand for it!” Hailey (Voice Over): As I walked around the streets of Detroit, people start to fill the sidewalks. It was lunch rush right now and I was working. As I walk down the street, a smirk comes across my face, as I see a cheerleader walk the streets. I grab her by the hair and pull her over to me, looking her over. Blonde hair, blue cheer outfit, glasses. Hm. This site looked familiar for sure. As I spoke, I look into the camera. ”This used to be me. Blonde hair, four eyed cheerleader chick who wasn't going anywhere and strived on agilation from idiots that didn't deserve time of day from me. Well, no more. Adatu, you're like this cheerleader. You both are nothing more than attention whores. You want the attention of the general manager, while I need no attention. I'm not here to put up with cheering idiots. I'm refocused and here to make it known that I will not be overlooked again. The old loveable Hailey Scott is gone. Dead. Replaced by what you see before you. And come Memorial Day, just be assured of one thing. That I will walk out as the victor. And Adatu, just be ready because I'm about to make you my bitch. Because what you don't realize is that I am the best rookie technical wrestler out there. And that was what any other promotion failed to realize. They would all waste my ability and talent on people like you that didn't deserve to be in the same ring with me. Like you. You're an unknown and I'm going to make sure you stay that way. You see, the time has passed for Hailey Morganne Scott to be used as a stepping stone. The time has come for me to make anyone pay who thinks I'm a stepping stone. In closing, I only have two words for you.” Hailey (Narrating): I would then throw the cheerleader on the ground, and smirk a bit. After I do that, I look into the camera, flipping it the double bird. As I smile evilly, I yell out two words that the censors would probably edit out, not that I cared. ”FUCK YOU!” Hailey (Narrating): And with that, my promo would end. I had said what I needed to and now it was time to enjoy the new, self centered, bitchy me. I was just happy that I was a cheerleader no more and was now a grown woman who had a new life ahead of her to do what she wanted to. |

Scene One On a warm, semi-bright Monday morning, SCW cameras begin rolling, panning around Inokashira Park, from the Musashino side of the pond. Many residents are enjoying a walk or bike ride along the pond. The residents of the Japanese city of Musashino pay very little attention to the camera. They are polite, though. They smile, bow, and wave to the cameram an. After a moment, the camera finds its subject. Adatu Urakih was a Japanese woman of about five foot seven, and she had medium length black hair. She was sitting on a bench, her legs crossed as the camera came closer. Urakih: Musashino e yokoso desu. (Welcome to musashino.) Watashi no namae ha Adatu Urakih desu. (My name is Adatu Urakih.) She hadn’t looked at the camera. Instead, she had her eyes settled on the pond, where young children were racing remote controlled speed boats within a section set up for them the previous summer. While pausing from talking, Urakih used her waribashi to eat yaki soba from a small container. Using the chopsticks, she put the noodles in her mouth, closing her eyes. Urakih: Mmmm, oishi desu! (Mmmm, delicious!) Sate, Eigo desu. (Okay, English.) A few days ago, I had a tryout match for SCW. I was told that the debut process would be expedited for the right free agent. As you stand here today, recording me, it is obvious. The Musashino Machine is on her way to Starstruck Championship Wrestling. And, in my first match, I debut on Pay Per View. Urakih ate more of her yaki soba. On the bench she had two bottles of Ramune, one in Strawberry and the other in Blue Hawaii. She hadn’t opened the Blue Hawaii yet, but the Strawberry was nearly empty. Setting her noodles down, Urakih reached for the bottle, finishing it off. As she lifted the glass bottle, the marble inside rattled while she drank the remainder of the soda. Urakih: Oishi…Sato desu. At SCW’s Slammed on Memorial Day event, I make my SCW debut. It won’t be my first time in America, and I’m even familiar with some of the people on the roster already. My focus, however, is to be one Hailey Scott. The Japanese Machine began eating her noodles again, looking at the pond. As she was finishing the noodles, a young white girl ran past her, then stopped and looked at her. The girl smiled and then bowed before continuing to run away. Urakih smiled, watching her enjoy the Park. It wasn’t so many years ago that she herself had been a child and enjoyed the place as such that only a child could. Urakih set the container for the noodles down and then picked up her second drink, the Blue Hawaii. In the cap, there was a marble that needed to be pushed down to break the seal of the bottle. Using her thumb, Urakih pushed down on the marble and there was a popping sound as the carbonated drink broke the seal. Taking a few swallows of the drink, Urakih turned fully toward the camera now. Urakih: So, Hailey Scott…the Victorious! I should make a mental note to kick you in the face just for that stupid ass nickname. I’m only 26, and I can see that this new generation…this new…breed…of wrestlers are going to be shit. I have two things going for me, skill wise, when it comes to wrestling ability. For one, I was trained to respect the sport. Secondly, I was trained in the Japanese arts. It’s no secret that Japanese wrestlers are some of the most innovative in the world. Hailey Scott has the misfortune of not being trained the way I was. Owe, I’m sure herself and her trainers think they are all very well and dandy, but there is no substitution for absolute ability. That is what I have; absolute ability. Here in Japan, wrestling is a respected sport where the athleticism is incomparable to anywhere else in the world. Despite my history, I’m not very well known in a lot of places, which has always baffled me, considering the circles I run around in. It’s fine, though. I can work from the dark horse angle. I’m adaptable. It was part of my secondary training; assess, adapt, annihilate. And, with the finisher that takes its namesake from this here water source, I’ll leave anyone devastated with the Kanda River Plunge. One of the phrases I live by is kishi kaisei. It means to wake from the death, and return to the life. While you contemplate what that means, I’ll leave you now. Sayonata desu. Urakih finishes speaking and looks away from the camera. All around her, the leaves and petals from the Sakura plants and trees can be seen on the ground, in the water, or wafting about in the air. The camera turns and faced the pond where the children were now watching the larger boats sail across. The clip then ended abruptly. |
