Allie: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to SCW's 36th edition of Overdrive!

Wayne: If you didn't see Spring Meltdown, let me tell ya right now, you missed a hell of a show!

Allie: We crowned a new World Heavyweight Champion, and for those who didn't see the amazing battle, Paige Lewis did the impossible, walking into Spring Meltdown with a lot of doubters, but I gotta believe she's turned them all into believers now!

Wayne: And she retained the North American Championship! But she wasn't the only one with championship success. Priest managed to finally come out on top against Gabriel Tuck, and he chose a fine time to do so, retaining his championship.

Allie: But, let's go on and get right into tonight's action!

The titantron comes to life, showing a video package. One hundred candles burned on tall stands in the room. Their light was a pool of flickering radiance that chased the shadows to the corners. They stood timeless; waiting..

A voice echoed from outside the light. It vibrated on the stone walls like the sound of a bell. The air shuddered in anticipation….

Voice: The Dance of One Hundred Candles is a test of a warrior’s precision and control. He must extinguish each flame in turn without disturbing the candle or its stand….

A flash of steel cut the air and the first candle went dark.

Voice: My journey has been long. It started first on these shores, but has taken me on a winding path all across the globe…

A second flame extinguished, and then a third. A human form began to materialize in the ambient light. Of medium height and thin, the form was male and dressed in a loose fitting black kimono. A katana moved in his hands like lightning. More flames died at its touch…

Voice: I have seen the darkness that lurks in the secret corners of men’s minds. I have lived within it and been consumed by it. I have been swallowed up by the void of insanity and chaos, but I have risen again like an unquenchable fire…

Faster and faster, the flames disappeared. The remaining glow illuminated the young man’s bearded face. His head was shaven clean on the sides and back; his long dirty blond hair was gathered into a tight topknot ponytail. His blue eyes shined in the quickly diminishing light…

Man: I am here to unleash the fire within me and extinguish the flames of small beings that call themselves “superstars.” For those of you who do not recognize my face, I am Cade Corso, known all over the world as “Ronin.” I have come to SCW to see if the rumors I have heard are true. I have been told the best compete here. I will test this rumor…

More than half of the flames had been devoured. The katana blade moved like a chain lightning. Each flash of the blade was reflected in the cold unblinking stare of Corso’s eyes…

Corso In my travels, I have met every challenge. Beings who thought themselves to be technical masters, street fighters, and even those who called themselves “xtreme.” All of them fell before me; many of them did not return to the ring. Even after leaving for three years to devote myself to contemplation and returning once again to the ring, the story had not changed. All that faced me fell before me. One thing, however, has always eluded me…

Twenty candle flames remained. The smoke from the extinguished wicks hung thick in the room. The shadows drew closer around Corso, barely held back by the diminishing candle light.

Corso: In all the years I have competed, I have never held championship gold. No matter how many bodies I left in my wake, every promotion I competed in kept their champions away from me. After seeing the carnage I created, perhaps they were afraid I would leave them with nothing if I got ahold of one of their precious champions. I have heard that SCW is different. I have heard that it is a place where opportunity is given to all who have the courage to reach for it and embrace it…

One candle remained. Corso held his strike and sheathed his blade. He looked into the flame and contemplated…

Corso: I have watched many talents rise and fall. Stars that burned brightly for a moment before plummeting into the darkness. Now, the bright stars bear names like Paige Lewis, the holder of the SCW World Title and the SCW North American Title. She has accomplished much and faced all challenges and has proved victorious. There is much honor in that. I hope she will be ready when the time comes for her to step in the ring with me…

The lone candle seemed to dim in the encroaching darkness. Only Corso’s face was still illuminated glowing a ruddy orange in the black of the room…

Corso: Another is Priest, the holder of the SCW Alternative Championship, once held by my mentor of old. I can see a kinship in thought and deed between Priest and I. I have great respect for that. It will, however, not save him once it is our time to face one another for his coveted title…

Corso’s blade rang from its scabbard. The sound echoed off the walls of the chamber. The final flame looked small in the ocean of shadows. It struggled to hold on to life for every second that ticked away…

Corso: I do not ask for hand outs. I do not ask for immediate title shots or a free ticket to the top of the contender’s list. I live by a code of honor. I will start at the bottom and cut my way through all those who stand between me and what I want. No one in SCW is safe from what I have in store for them. As promotions all over the world have learned, so shall SCW: the Ronin has no master!

Corso’s blade cut the air and extinguished the final flame. The darkness was absolute. Only the sound of Corso’s breathing could be heard as the world faded to black.

Anne Carpenter: This next match is scheduled for one fall, and is an open challenge! Introducing first, Gabriel Tuck!

"Iron Wolf" by Beastwars begins playing as Gabriel Tuck walks out with a wide smile in his black leather jacket, white wifebeater, and dark jeans. He walks down to a mixed reaction from the fans that seem to lean more towards cheering and the chanting of "Jug-ga-lo!"

Wayne Miller: So, what happens if nobody comes out to challenge him?

Allie Queen: I imagine he wins by forfeit.

After a couple of minutes, Anne speaks again.

Anne Carpenter: As no one has come to answer the challenge, Gabriel Tuck has been declared the winner!

Tuck took the microphone.

Tuck: Oh, I get it. All you wrestlers are simply afraid. Well, I suppose I will have to find other entertainme-whoa! Hey camera guy, check this chick out! Hey you, up front in the orange! Hey, come up for a moment, let me talk to you!

The woman comes over the barricade and climbs into the ring. Tuck looks her up and down as he circles her.

Tuck: You know, you kinda remind me of someone...hey, how would you like to give ole Gabriel a kiss, yeah? Come get down with the clown!

The woman smiled invitingly, and Tuck pressed his face against hers. He put his hand under her shirt, fondling her a bit and she giggled as he pulled away.

Tuck: Ha! I’ve got it. You remind me of that broad Jessica Tendonin. And you’re loose like she is, too. Het tits are bigger though, and nicer. Bigger ass, too. And about a foot taller. Wait, isn’t her match next? Oh shit!

Tuck dropped the mic and ran from the ring.

Wayne Miller: That was...

Allie Queen: Inappropriate.

Somewhere in the locker room area the camera goes through a door. Water can be heard, and drowns out the slight squeak. The water shuts off and wet footsteps are heard. The camera peeks around the corner but the occupant so far cant been seem. After a few minutes of this Emily Desmond appears in the middle of getting ready for her match. She has her ring gear on and she goes to a bag to rifle through it for her hairbrush and hair tie.

Hello Emily.

Emily spins around and sees a strange man there. He’s dressed in a full suit and although he’s smiling, it seems almost sinister.

Emily: Who the hell are you?

Let’s say….a friend. A friend who wants to know if you want a job.

Emily: Um pardon me, but you’re AT my job. You know, like as in wrestling.

You mean you haven’t been contacted this past week?

Emily: No, and honestly I really don’t need you here right now. I have a match to get ready for.

Ok let me rephrase that, how would you like a second job?

Emily: Look buddy I don’t know who you are, who you work for, or what in hell you want from me but leave me alone! I have a big match and….

I’ll be in touch again. I hope by our next meeting you’ll know who I am and what I want to offer.

Emily is losing her patience with this total stranger.

Emily: Look if you’re not with management of this place, or maybe the front office sent you, but if you really want to talk to me, call me later this week when I’m….you know, HOME.

Your future could be quite different than you thought it would be this morning.

He starts to leave but stops.

Good luck tonight.

The man walks out of the locker room. Emily goes to make sure he’s not coming back but is met at the door by Sean Foster.

Sean: Emily! My favorite person!

Emily looks around Sean and sees no one else in the hallway. She looks at Sean.

Emily: Where did he go?

Sean: Who? I came to see how you’re feeling. I mean you have a title shot, this week you’re taking on Mick Sky, who is new to SCW. You think you’ll win again?

Emily seems to be only half listening to Sean, trying to find the man who seems to have vanished like the wind when the door had closed. Emily finally looks directly at Sean.

Emily: Did you see anyone at all?

Sean: I swear Emily. I heard the door opening and wanted to catch you but then you about slam me in the head with the door, you opened it so fast. Now….what about tonight?

Emily: What about it?

Sean can tell Emily is distracted and he looks a bit concerned.

Sean: Mick Sky? He seems to have done his homework.

Emily: You mean like knowing who my parents are? I’ll give him that, it’s more than my other two opponents . …..Hey come here a minute.

Emily opens the locker room door, seeming to invite Sean in. He cautiously enters given how Emily is acting totally unlike herself. Sean looks around.

Sean: Emily? Are you ok?

Emily: Yeah….I…..I don’t know.

Sean signals for the cameraman to follow him and he quietly leaves Emily standing in the middle of her locker room totally distracted from her match with Mick Sky.

The fans cheer and clap in rhythm in unison as the light in the arena go out. Then the music blares through the PA system as the multi colored lights pulsates along with music. Then the music stops the lights stop the arena goes dark for a moment then the music and the lights goes on(the multi-color lights pulsates while the music is going). Jacina slowly comes through the curtains the fans erupt with cheer, Jacina bends down on her knees opens her arms wide open as she absorbs the fans cheering.

Anne: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, the number one contender for the North American Championship, Jacina!

Then she gets up walks over to the other side and again bends down on her knees open her arms wide open absorbing the fans cheer. She gets up off of her knees takes a deep breath and starts walking backwards in circular motion as the pyro goes off.....bam...bam...bam, bam, bam. Then she starts walking down the aisle greeting the fans on both sides of the aisle. As Jacina approaches the ring she stops at the end of the aisle takes another deep breath slowly slithers under the bottom rope walks in the center of the ring poses provocatively...poses on the ring ropes the pyro goes off.

Anne: And her opponent, weighing in at one hundred and ninety pounds, hailing from Shaker Heights, Ohio, former two time SCW Alternative Champion, she is the Heart Breaker from the Heights of Shaker, Jessica Tendonin!

Party Monster by The Weeknd began playing through the arena audio system.

"I'm Good, I'm Good, I'm Great!"

[dohtml][/dohtml]

After a few seconds, Jessica Tendonin walked out onto the stage. She stood there for a moment, raising both arms above her head, posing for the fans who cheered her. Jessica then began walking down the ramp, slowly lowering her arms.

Posted Image

Jessica reached the ring and stood for a moment, looking around at the arena. Basking in the cheers, Jessica smiled as she climbed into the ring. She walked to the nearest turnbuckle and climbed it, posing for the crowd.

[dohtml][/dohtml]

Jessica jumped down from the second rope, and turned, crouching in the corner, waiting for the match to start as her music died down.

Wayne Miller: Some would call this an uneven match up.

Allie Queen: Former two time SCW Alternative Champion and seventeen time world champion, vs one time North American Champion? Yeah, very uneven. But, think of it like this. We know Mr. Walker and Mrs. Tendonin have history, and we know they are very friendly. But putting her in the opening match is essentially making her start from the bottom, no matter what she achieves in this run with the SCW.

The bell rings as the two women met in the center of the ring. The two six foot plus tall women stared each other down. Jacina turned, rebounding off the ropes, going for a Shoulder Block. Jessica took it head on and didn’t budge. Jacina eyed Jessica, who turned and also rebounded off the ropes, looking to take the smaller woman down with a Shoulder Block that was also almost ineffectual.

Wayne Miller: It’s not often that Jessica has the occasion to look across the ring at another woman who mirrors her size.

Allie Queen: Size isn’t everything. Small person or Giant, and anything in between, Jessica has taken them all down.

Jessica grabbed Jacina and sent her over with a Belly to Belly Suplex. Stalking her from behind as she got back to her feet, Jessica hit Jacina with a neck breaker. Jacina was back down, and she took longer to get up this time, but Jessica again caught her from behind, this time with a Releasing German Suplex.

Allie Queen: Tendonin looking to keep the number one contender grounded.

Wayne Miller: Doing a good job early in the match. Jessica’s putting on a clinic for everyone watching in the back.

Allie Queen: Two successful moves is a clinic now?

Jacina got to her feet, ducking a Clothesline from Jessica. Jacina grabbed Jessica, turning her around and then taking her to the mat with a Power Slam. Jessica groaned in pain, but got to her feet quickly, eating a Dropkick from Jacina. Jacina mounted her, and began pounding her head into the mat. The referee began counting her, and Jacina backed off at 4.

Allie Queen: It would not do well to get disqualified.

Wayne Miller: I’m checking out a poll online, and right now, the odds on favorite to win is Jacina. They’re saying she gained a lot of experience during her time away.

Allie Queen: Jacina’s already got that date with Paige Lewis for the SCW North American title, whether she wins or loses this match. But, just imagine, you’re staring down the rookie champion, coming off of a win against someone like Jessica Tendonin?

Wayne Miller: That is a good point to make. Beating Jessica here would be a big boost in momentum for Jacina as she heads into that North American Championship match.

Both women were on their feet. Jacina rebounds off the ropes, going for a Big Boot, but Jessica dodged it and the referee was taken out. The crowd popped now. Jessica looked from the referee to Jacina. Jacina reached into her tights as Jessica looked away, and when she looked back, Jacina knocked her out with a pair of brass knuckles. The crowd booed now, but Jacina ignored them.

Wayne Miller: I gotta believe taking the ref out was an accident, but bringing the brass knucks to the ring was no mistake! Jacina has Tendonin knocked out, but we don’t have a referee!

Jacina rolled out of the ring and grabbed a steel chair, returning to the ring. Jacina put the chair around Jessica’s neck and climbed to the top rope amid a storm of boos. As she positioned herself to jump, someone jumped out of the audience, climbed onto the apron, and knocked her down. The person climbed in the ring and when Jacina got back up, she was taken down with a Super Kick. The person pulled Jessica into a cover and left the ring. Backing up the ramp, the person removed their ski mask to reveal...Paige Lewis!

Wayne Miller: It’s...It’s Paige Lewis! The World Champion may have just cost Jacina one of the biggest matches of her career!

Allie Queen: A little bit of payback from Spring Meltdown, I’ll assume. But it’s not over yet!

In the ring, the referee came around and began counting.

"1……...2……...Kickout!"

Jacina had kicked out. Jessica got to her feet, pulling Jacina up as well. Jessica put her hand around Jacina’s throat, signalling to the crowd. They thundered with approval. Jessica pumped Jacina into the air, and then drove her into the mat with a huge Chokeslam. She then hooked Jacina’s leg.

"1……...2……...3!"

The bell rang and Jessica and the referee got to their feet, the ref holding Jessica’s hand up in victory. Party Monster by The Weeknd hit the PA system as the fans cheered.

Anne: Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner, Jessica Tendonin!

Allie Queen: With an assist from the North American and World Heavyweight champion, Paige Lewis, Jessica Tendonin has defeated Jacina!

As Tendonin left the ring, Jacina got to her feet and grabbed a microphone.

Jacina: Who the hell attacked me! I swear to god, if it was that bitch Paige Lewis, I’m not just taking her North American Championship, but I’m gonna beat her to within an inch of her life!

WINNER: JESSICA TENDONIN

Cassie: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from New York City, Emily Desmond!

Lights go out as Just a Girl by No Doubt begins to play. Also smoke fills the ramp, lit by red and green lights. Emily Desmond appears, her dark hair pulled back in a loose ponytail and dressed with tights that are a mix of red and green on black, a shirt that is either solid red or green, and a black leather coat. She seems focus on the ring and crawls in, but doesn’t do anything like stand up on turnbuckles.

Cassie: And her opponent, weighing in at two hundred and twenty pounds, hailing from the Isle of Destiny, Mick Sky!

To Be Loved by Papa Roach blared over the PA and a moment later, Mick Sky ran out onto the ramp and the crowd got hype. Sky made his way down to the ring, rolling in.

Wayne: Debut match for Mick Sky, taking on Emily Desmond, who has a date with Priest, challenging for his Alternative Championship.

Allie: Desmond has only had a handful of matches here, but thus far, she is undefeated.

The bell rang and Desmond locked up with Sky. Sky powered Desmond into the corner and began chopping away at her chest. The referee began counting him and he backed off at 4. Desmond got out of the corner, and Sky hit her with DDT. The crowd popped as Sky climbed the turnbuckle, but Desmond Knocked him off. Sky groaned, but Desmond stayed on the offensive, sending him back to the mat with a Snap Suplex.

Wayne: Good action back and forth so far.

Allie: This is a match where a win for either of them could push them up in the standings. Desmond needs to build momentum as she gets closer to facing off against Priest, and and nobody wants to debut with a loss.

Both were back on their feet, trading lefts and rights. Out of nowhere, Sky hits a Twist of Fate, laying Desmond out. He climbed the turnbuckle, going for Awakening Destiny, but Desmond rolled out of the way. Sky tucked and rolled to his feet. Desmond went for a clothesline, but Sky ducked. He grabbed her from behind, rolling her up with a School Boy pin.

“1……...2……...3!”

Cassie: Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner, Mick Sky!

Wayne: Out of nowhere, Mick Sky gets a roll up victory!

Allie: If you blinked, you might have missed it! Desmond seemed a bit distracted earlier, and one has to wonder if whatever it was played a part in her first loss here tonight! Congrats to Mick Sky, and welcome to SCW!

Anne Carpenter: Ladies and gentlemen...please welcome, the new owner of the SCW, Terel Walker!

"Fuck Being On Some Chill Shit!"

0 to 100 by Drake hit the PA system and the crowd popped. A moment later, Terel Walker came out on stage, grinning. He wore a dark blue suit with a gray tie as he began walking down the ramp.

Posted Image

Allie: The boss is in the house tonight!

Wayne: Mr. Walker regained control of the SCW after Jessica Tendonin destroyed Jordan Post with an Imprint off the top of the ladder, and through a glass table, at Spring Meltdown.

Reaching the ring, Mr. Walker climbed the steps slowly as the fans applauded happily. Inside the ring, his music died down and someone threw him a microphone.

Mr. Walker: Goooooood evening Anaheim!!!

The crowd roars.

Mr. Walker: Alright, alright, alright. Let’s get down to bidness. First of all, thank you all for coming out to Spring Meltdown. I may not have booked the card, but I was definitely excitedly about the matches taking place. You see, the SCW is a company that has had high points and low points. Personally, looking back, I think that can be attributed to three things. First, giving title shots to people walking in off the streets. Second, tying up title scenes with the same two people. And third, changes in leadership, and thus, no stability in the direction of the company.

Now, Looking at the current roster, I see old faces as well as new faces. I see hungry new stars, and I see olh heads sitting alone feasting. My direction for the new SCW is that we will ALL feast like kings. But that means we all have to step up. And speaking of stepping up...nobody else in this company has ever stepped up the way this young lady has. Ladies and gentlemen, the SCW North American Champion and new SCW World Heavyweight Champion, Paige Lewis!!!

The crowd exploded as In For The Kill (Danger’s Ocean Remix) by La Roux hit the PA system. After about twenty seconds, Lewis walked out onto the stage wearing a Jack Harkness style greatcoat and dark shades, her North American Championship over her left shoulder, and her SCW World Heavyweight Championship around her waist. Standing on the stage soaking in the thunderous applause, Lewis nodded and smiled before making her way down the ramp.

Allie: The champion, ladies and gentlemen, had an amazing night at Spring Meltdown. First, that Ladder Match, and then that hour long Ironman match!

Wayne: She promised dual victory, and dammit, she delivered.

Lewis reached the ring and climbed up onto the apron and then up the turnbuckle, posing for the fans. After a few seconds, she climbed down into the ring and her music died down.

Terel: First of all, Paige, congratulations on your massive achievement. Nobody in SCW history has ever held two singles titles here, simultaneously. First, you competed in that ladder match against Jade Justice, and won. People began counting you out, but then, in that ironman match, while trailing behind on points for the whole match, in the final moments, you managed to get ahead. You held on in the Missouri Cloverleaf for nearly two minutes, refusing to tap out, which would have pushed us into approved overtime for the match.

You have, in the short time you’ve been with SCW, embodied what it means to be a champion, and you’ve set a standard that everyone here can look to replicate. I am proud to call you the SCW World Heavyweight Champion, and also the SCW North American Champion.

Paige smiled and nodded, having been watching Mr. Walker’s lips, following his words. She took the second microphone from him.

Paige: Before Spring Meltdown, I heard the rumors. Leaving with one belt was not likely; leaving with both was impossible. But here I stand, as SCW North american Champion and SCW World Heavyweight Champion. I refused to give up, literally and figuratively. And now, you lot understand how hard I’ve been working for this. You can call it a cinderella story, a rags to riches dream, but the fact of the matter is, this is a reality that so few actually realize for themselves.

I never dreamed of standing here as a champion, let alone the World Heavyweight Champion, when I signed an SCW contract back in February. But, I worked hard, and jumped at every opportunity I could. And mere months later, here I stand, a dual champion, and the world champion. Let me just say, to all who supported me, that there is no more humble feeling than what I felt at Spring Meltdown as I sat in the ring, holding both of these belts.

You people believed in me, and made me believe in myself even more. And for that, I am grateful.

Mr. Walker: As our fourth World Champion, Paige, you’ve joined a VERY short list of people with this honor.

Paige: It is a great honor. But, something else happened at Spring Meltdown that I want to address. And that is Jacina. Jacina, you’re the number one contender to my North American Championship, a championship I promised you yanks I would win and carry with honor, despite your head of state. You chose to get involved in my match. Clearly you have a bone to pick with me. Strange though, because had you succeeded in costing me the belt, you’d have been facing Justice.

But, that’s neither here nor there. That’s in the past. Now, let’s talk about the future. That ladder match was rather brutal. But, since Jacina likes Ladder matches so much that she had to get involved in one that didn’t involve her, why don’t we do that again. Mr. Walker...when it is time to defend this championship against Jacina, I want it in a Ladder match.

Mr. Walker: That’s all fine with me, Miss Lewis.

Paige: Great. And Jacina, I saw a transcript of what you had to say earlier tonight, and honestly...I welcome the challenge you think you can pose. As for these fans...I have a request of you lot. My physician back home believes that my hearing may not actually be gone, but only severely degraded. He is of the mind that if something is loud enough, I might actually hear it. He suggests getting cochlear implants for more than ambient sounds. So, ladies and lads...Show me what you can do!

The crowd roared with applause. Paige smiled and shook her head.

Paige: No, let’s try that again. I want all of you to scream as loud as you can!

The crowd was even louder this time as Mr. Walker covered his ears. Paige still shook her head.

Paige: Is that the best you can do for your SCW World Heavyweight Champion and SCW North American Champion?!

This time, the arena shook as the crowd thundered. In the ring, Paige’s eyes widened as she smiled in delight while nodding.

Paige: Wow...I heard that. Goodness...my physician was right! Goodness gracious, I heard you all, and it was beautiful!

Mr. Walker nodded and patted Lewis’ shoulder before speaking.

Mr. Walker: Alright, I think my ears have had enough punishment. Coming up next, we’ve got your main event of the evening, Brian Kennedy, a former SCW world champion, taking on Priest, the current SCW Alternative Champion in a non-title match up!

Allie: This crowd is on fire, and we’ve got the main event up next!

Anne Carpenter: The following contest is your main event of the evening, and is a non-title match! Introducing first, from Canton, Ohio, he is the Living Legend, and a former SCW World Champion...Brian Kennedy!

Brian walks off towards the entrance ramp. Eulogy by Tool hits the P.A. system. As the rhythm picks up after around a minute of music plays and the words start to work its way through the arena the lights cut out and a spotlight shines at the top of the ramp. Brian is seen standing there with a smile, in his hand is a 20 lb sledge hammer.

He had alot to say.
He had alot of nothing to say.
(We'll miss him. 2x)
He had alot to say.
He had alot of nothing to say.
(We'll miss him. 2x)
(We're gonna miss him. 2x)

So loooooong!

Fire shoots out from the stage. Smoke rises from the stage as he starts to walk toward the ring. He stops about Halfway to the ring as he flexes in front of the camera kissing his sledge hammer. He smirks into the camera yelling snide remarks.

We wish you well.
You told us how you weren't afraid to die.
Well so looooooong.
Don't cryyyyy.
Or feel too down.
Not all martyrs see divinity.
But at least you tried.

He climbs up the steps and turns toward the crowd and taunts them by flipping them off and girls scream his name. He stops and turns back towards the crowd and jumps over the top rope and stands in the middle of the ring, he looks around and drops the sledge hammer and flexes as the flashes flow throughout the arena.

Standing above the crowd
he had a voice that was strong and loud.
(We'll miss him. 2x)

Ranting and pointing his finger
at everything but his heart.
(We'll miss him. 2x)
(We're gonna miss him. 2x)

No wayyyyyy
to recall
what it was that you had said to me,
like I care at alll.
But he was sooo louuud.
You sure could yell.
You took a stand on every little thing
and soooo louuuuuuuuud.

You, could be, the one, who saves, me from, my own, existence.

He climbs all the turnbuckles yet again doing a pose with his arms spread out wide from each one as the music fades.. He walks over to the middle of the ring. He smirks as the crowd chants things such as "Empire rules" and "Brian is Back."

Anne Carpenter: And his opponent, he is the reigning SCW Alternative Champion, Priest!

Passive by A Perfect Circle hits the PA system. As Priest steps onto the stage with his Alternative Championship over his shoulder, the crowd gives him a mixed reaction. Stopping in the middle of the ramp, Priest glares into the crowd with a sinister smile. As the opening guitar riffs start to kick in, the lights in the arena flicker on and off as flaming pyro’s go off. After a couple seconds, Priest twist his neck to crack his spine and heads down the ramp. Once he gets to the ring, he removes his black sunglasses and taunts tossing them into the crowd, but doesn't. He sees a child walks over to him, and acts like he's going to give it to him. But instead of giving them to the child, he drops them to the floor and stomps on them as he laughs and rolls into the ring, ready for action.

Wayne Miller: At Spring Meltdown, Kennedy made it clear that he had designs on the SCW Alternative Championship.

Allie Queen: Well, a win here could put him in the running, that’s for sure. But, before that, Priest must defend against Emily Desmond.

The bell rang and the two men charged at each other. Kennedy was giving up a foot in height and about thirty pounds in weight, but he shoved Priest backwards, knocking him down. Priest looked up at him, looking angry before getting to his feet and throwing a right that connected. Kennedy staggered back, but he dodged a Clothesline from Priest.

Wayne Miller: If you’re Paige Lewis, you’ve gotta be watching this match in the back. Either one of these men could potentially be a contender for the SCW World Heavyweight Championship in the near future.

Allie Queen: And we still don’t know what these alleged new rules are surrounding the Alternative championship. When Mr. Walker was out here earlier, I thought he might address it.

Kennedy wrapped his arms around Priest, and took him over with a huge Belly to Belly Suplex, sending the champion flying through the air and into the mat. Priest groaned as he got to his knees. As he got up, Grabbed him from behind, sending him up with a single German Suplex.

Allie Queen: Kennedy really taking control here! This is the guy I remember defeating Neela Shizeguma!

Kennedy went for a DDT, but Priest shoved him away and the two began trading blows. Priest gained the advantage with his longer reach. Priest went for a Spinebuster, but Kennedy countered with a DDT. Kennedy got to his feet, but Priest kicked his feet out from under him. Priest got to his feet and pulled Kennedy up, going for a Priest Driver, but Kennedy countered, and ducked behind Priest. As the crowd roared, Kennedy nailed the Alternative Champion with three German Suplexes.

Allie Queen: Kennedy with the War Cry!

Wayne Miller: That might be it!

Kennedy covered Priest for the pin.
